Deepstacks are definitely the best structure of the tournaments they run. The dailys might as well play blackjack instead. I play every deepstack event. Soft fields? Hmmm. Let's see. I flop the nut flush, move all in, and get called on the flop by a guy with bottom pair. Also 2 people pushed all in with 100 big blinds at least with 7 high, and both times I caught them with an overpair. People just giving you their chips early.

@ Ed bratz

1. Congrats on your run and your cash.
2. Unfortunately they ruled correctly IMO-this is why you need to announce a player has a dirty stack if you see one and of course ask that big chips be placed in front (everyones responsibility to get involved).
3. I hate when they have the freaking grey 5Ks and the 1Ks that are deep red, then them purple 500 pain in the arse sometimes it's hard to even tell whats what between the 5K/500 purps so I feel your pain

@PLO guy who got coolered

Rapini is pretty spot on IMO with this one, I'd ask "what happened to the other two cards? can you please square up the deck? also, no problems sirs but since I'm paying for this information i'd like to know what his other two cards are-can you retrive from muck, or mr. player can you please do the right thing and tell me(not sure if that helps"

Once that is done-ship it to the winner. Bottom line is it would not be ethically correct and in good spirit of the game for you to have that pot assuming everything was legit.

Also, I know for me when I'm playing PLO/O8, i usually push forward my two cards I'm playing to make it easier for the dealer and everyone to read, and i know a lot of people flop their cards all over the place in that game, so seriously its prolly an honest mistake.

Another thing occurred to me last night. One reason they have that rule in effect to show a complete hand is to make sure that the player in fact has only four cards. I can't count how many times in the small blind I have accidentally been dealt five cards instead of four...and he was the small blind. How do we know he wasn't playing five cards and threw the other three into the muck after showing the nines?

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnn!

Good point, like I said before, none of the other 8-9 people have any idea, including the 2 people to the left and right of him? hard to believe imo

Two quick questions:

1- Are tablets allowed at the table?

2- If so, are you a douche for being on one?

1. sometimes, depends if the floor wants to be ******ed or not
2. no

Anybody playing in tomorrow's $400 deep stack at 11am? I'm going. I heard that the fields have been large, and soft.

I will be playing the $400 tomorrow, so there is at least one donk in the tournament.

I'd guess 350 entrants. I'm going to skip today and aim for Saturday. These megas are grinds so I want to be fresh for Saturday. GL everyone who's in it.

Just played the $120 6pm last night - +/-190 runners - ran very well - chip equity chopped, took 1st place money. Table/players were great, DB factor was very low. Alot of DS sticking around to play the 6pm. I was the guy who hit a set of 7's against 10/10 all in and flopped a flush with A/10 vs AK - so when I say I ran well - I mean it. Everyone always needs a little luck....

Also, come on floor. You got to be better than what you displayed tonight. The 2/5 PLO hi game broke and me and another guy wanted to start up 10/20 HORSE on what is now a dead spread. The floor refused to allow us to play HU to get it going. So the dealer ended up sitting at a dead spread. I don't get it. Even a half raked game is better than no game for them. Or so I thought.
hey, you should have grabbed me and told me to stay to be the third, I would have walked for the razz part, then picked up.

Also, great job Ed! Nice to have meet you for breakfast, and i guess you can afford a room now, no matter what price they quote you.

Bring the stack for some plo in Holbrook tonight!

I would have been in that game if I didn't head off for dinner. In fact the OP saw me walking by around 9 and motioned me that there were open seats. I got back in the game around midnight after it had moved. Played and then played the next day when the game started.

The hand was topic of much discussion.

One of the things that was discussed (and was a bit of the controversy because it makes a huge difference) was about the tabling of the hand. Some said all four were tabled. Others, without saying if all four were tabled or just the 2 were tabled, was the fact that the dealer took the other none nine cards so quickly, and had done the same thing the previous hand.

Win, you said you looked down to get chips that were owed to the pot ,would it have been possible in that instant the cards were tabled, and the dealer mucked before you saw them?

The way the dealers have been the last couple of days, you best protect your hands until you get the pot shipped to you

Do we think cash games will be good tomorrow?

I imagine lots of fish, like myself, are gonna take the day off to head down and play.
