Fair enough. I probably shuffle chips in front of my cards as well, but not while I'm facing action. And if I'm cutting out chips for a potential raise or call, I'm especially careful to keep them behind the cards.

20 is pretty much constant, sometimes breaks overnight (after last call) early in the week.

40 is played every tue night and most sunday nights. After that friday is sometimes and the rest are infrequent, depending on who is in the room. A week ago tuesday, during tournaments, we had two tables of 20 and two tables of 40.

There's no straight lhe action bigger than 40. straight stud has been spotted at 40 and, recently, 50 and then stud and/or mixed at 75+. There's been some 75 HS in the past month or so.

Last night there was a 75/150 stud and it was a full table. Also 150/300 mix game with 5 players.

Just going to throw this out there, if anyone is up for PLO (high), or HA, today I'd be in. Anywhere 1-2 to 5-5. Would love to get an early game started

Was it quiet in the room today?

Figure it must be much slower with the megastacks done.

was quieter then I hoped yesterday but still managed to leave $315 to the good at 2/5 yesterday..... some moron kept telling everyone i bluffed 80% of the time then called me down with his second pair in a 4 way raised pot when I flopped a set of 5's....had it not been for that pot through would have been a pretty boring day overall, didn't play tournament, i really dislike the structures of the dailys, it's one thing to jump from 100-200 to 200-400, but that 400-800 jump to 600-1200 or whatever is just ridiculous. I can live without the 150/300 and even the 250/500 (because i get it from the casino's pov) but after that cmon, you have to let people play poker a little bit more.....last week at the final table of the 230 the table average was 100K chips, I was sitting with like 120K and the blinds were 8K-16K. thats awful. BTW is it just me or is the cocktail service getting even worse

Played 2/5 yesterday. Some unbelievable stuff going on, w/6+ games running. Question for the group. Guy at my table would consistently say "I fold" quietly under his breath. Cards stayed right were they were, capped. I'm assuming "I fold" is not binding at the woods?

foxwoods was the bussiest I've seen it in a while last night, at least in the poker room... There was up to a 58 person wait for 1/2 at one point.

I called in an hour ago for a 2/5 seat and am number 16

Of course there are 10 plus empty tables

Just got my flier for the Foxwoods Poker Classic in the mail. Is it just me or are the room rates actually lower than usual?

Yea not bad, especially if you don't mind staying at the Two Trees. Always log in and check the nights you are interested in, I almost always have lower prices than the tourny rate available on my card some of the days.

man i played the 5/10nl this morning/early afternoon and i thought that things were pretty tame relative to the fact that the rainmaker valet was closed due to overcrowding. ive seen two 5/10s and a 10/20 run over the summer on a thursday and now its a holiday weekend when its cold and theres only one 5/10?

Techinically the rule is "verbal declarations are binding." In practice most dealers won't proceed until the player physically does it. Especially at Woods where there is no shortage of arguments about what happened.

any guesses on how busy tomorrow may be?

This is what was frustrating. The dealers are never paying attention, despite the fact that the guy was in the 10 seat. Reason why I asked is that it I shoved the turn on a bluff, heard him say I fold, dealer did nothing, didn't want to give away that I wanted a fold, so sat there for 30 seconds while he said I fold 3 times while his cards did not move.

if that situation comes up and the dealer isn't reacting just ask the dealer "did he say call?" and it will be resolved. also if it was some sort of angleshot it will look like you're looking for a call.
