Well, I spoke with the shift manager Friday night. I explained my experiences with said ruling and numerous other dealer issues and she seemed concerned so hopefully she will do something about it.
My husband also wrote a long letter and sent it to numerous people at Foxwoods. I dont know if they will do anything or if they even care but other than switching to Mohegan, I dont know what else to do.
I understand the issues with the new dealers. They are new and have had 1/4 of their training cut but there are no excuses for these floor people. A few of the floors are good, amiable and do their job but there are several that are mean and are clueless about the rules of poker.

Sick 10/20 NL running right now. Just don't sit in my seat, I swear it is cursed. Lost a nice huge pot with K9ss against 87ss on 942ss. Yeah, you read that correctly.

Well, one player (not I) left 2/5NL earlier this evening with $10,200, earned over about 24 hours on one $500 buy-in.... I was at the table for much of it. I think this is the biggest single-session 2/5 profit I've ever seen.

yeah, he had a sick 5 story pyramid chip stack. I've never seen anything like it. All red chips with some green on top and some bills in the back.

I don't think this is the record though... I believe it's 12k.

I was playing in this game for 18 hours Saturday night /Sunday morning. Huge game, maybe 70k on the table at one point. Was playing with a couple guys who had huge tourney scores recently (both at a little over 300k each)... was a good time. Wish it ran more often.

A few notable hands...
~9k pot all in after turn on a 2397 board 22 vs AA. set of dueces hold.

~8.5k pot, all in on flop, again set of dueces vs AA... 2 outer gets there on river.

~4k pot all in preflop, AK vs 64. AK wins.

On a new note, for anyone coming from the NY area, there is a diner called Athena, its either exit 18 or 19 that serves a pretty good breakfast and it also breaks up the drive.

That had happened to me sometimes when I was free mid-week. Very annoying.

I know this question has probably been asked before but how does the 5/10 NL run at the woods? And what is the max buy in?

It runs often, most times of the year daily. Runs short a lot of the time. During tourneys if the room isn't over crowded you may see 3-5 5-10NL going. From what I've seen 10-20NL has been getting off recently as well. Buy-in is 500-2k.

I move to expose my cards, and she quickly pulls her chips back behind her cards. She does not muck her hand, just continues to tank. The dealer says nothing, so I pull off my headphones and ask him, "what was that?" He asks me if I want to call the floor. I either didn't answer or said no - can't remember - because I didn't want to influence her action. If she was going to willingly put the chips in I was going to let her - I wanted a call, or even better, a raise. So after another minute or so, she finally folds but her cards don't hit the muck. I instantly ask for the floor. The dealer announces, "these cards are not dead" and calls the floor, who rules in my favor, that it was a call. Obviously the correct ruling from the floor, and also a pretty obvious angle-shoot on her part, don't you think? Oh, and by the way, for at least two hours after this hand she berated ME, saying I was the angle-shooter by not calling the floor right away when the dealer asked me. Unbelievable.

OMG! I cannot believe that she would rewrite history and then post it here! Second, I cannot believe that she is a 2+2er because she was horrible! This woman got her whole stack in bad at least 3 times on the turn to bink less than 6 outters on the river each time.

PS- I think this rule is horrible FWIW.

Wrongoooooo

Fw ruling for a bet: must be put half way between player and pot...100% sure of this...I've seen the ruling placed and discussed a million times there in the past. The old rule was infront of cards...which they changed.

Obvious horrible ruling by floor

I probably missed the memo, but as far as I know, there is no poker knowledge requirement to create a SN on 2+2.

Also, #posters active in LLSNL and/or MHFR that play at Foxwoods <<<< #posters active in this thread.
