Thats makes the game better. It plays bigger lower rake and most of the players are bad to ok maybe less than 5 good players. The thing that tilts me is how bad some of the dealers are. If a player is a true nit then just push the turn or river and they will fold anything but the nuts

An opponent called me a ****** last night at 1/2 NL. I said, "What?". And the dealer stuck up for me. My opponent was betting the whole way.
Final board AQ93j
Me 98 LOL
He was kind of short stacked and pushed for his last $40 on the river. I called. He wouldn't table his hand at showdown, so I tabled mine, and my opponent started berating me.

I know people steam after losing a decent sized pot, and I normally just quitely stack their chips. But I draw the line at name-calling.

got a promo in my email for the next two saturdays at the 'woods -- trade your points for cash @ $1/point (up to $1000).

i'm only down there every couple months and don't play in the pit so i've only got a couple hundred bucks worth, but may be huge for some people.

Anyone know how many points an hour someone gets at 1/2NL? Some tell me it's 1.5/hr, some say .75/hr, some 1 an hr.

1.5

Yeah, that promo to cash in your points is pretty sweet. I've never seen that one before. I'll def be taking advantage of it.

2/5 is 1.5 so it has to be less I'd assume 1

They have 3 tiers, Low Mid and High. On the sign-up board, to the right of each game title, you'll see a L M or H. This tells you what comp level the game is. L, M, H, is 1, 1.5, and 2, respectively. 1/2 and 2/5 are both Mid.

So those are always mid....seems unfair 2/5 gets the same comp points

Why? They pay the same rake (almost).

How much do you you get w a blk card? Yeah I'm gng sat if anyone wants to watch me count lol. If you get up and walk around for an hour do you still get comped? You can go in with me but you need like 2k minim
Um otherwise it's not really worth it. Like if you win 1k I get half and you keep your comps. It would be hit and run and it has to be like nothing to you bc it's just a session roll. Top bet 200/10 top bets

It's on their web site, should be for everyone. There are specific times and some restrictions on which points can be cashed. No promo points or bingo points.

Anyone see the guy on the 4/8 table get banned for 24 hours on Saturday night for loudly saying "Someone shoot the dealer"? At first he got a "first and final" warning from the floor, but then a few minutes later he was told to leave for 24 hours. I was on the next table and we all heard the remark, but we didn't know if there was more of a story.

Yes black card gets you 2x points, however only 1x counts toward gold/platinum qualification.

Of course. No taking complete advantage of promos like double point tuesdays. I would've killed for these cashout promos in years past when I had thousands of points. I cashed them out indirectly, but at worse than 1:1 value

Yeah MS pays 2, 3, 4 pts/hr for 1/2, 2/5, 5/10. I don't know why FW rates 1/2 and 2/5 the same. I wish FW rated like MS. It'd make it possible for me to get a Gold card playing just 1/2 (7.5 hrs/day instead of 10). Since I only go on weekends usually, I can only get a 10+ hour session in on Saturday, but 7.5 hours I could qualify on Friday and probably Sunday too.

No I have not heard that but they do have a brand new tournament area up where the old room used to be so I guess there would be space for it. I can't imagine the higher stakes regs liking the ding ding ding of slot machines right next to them all day though.

Is B.B. Kings still around? Where can I watch all the games on Sunday? I imagine the race book bar is pretty busy and I am not getting there until after 1.

There's no way they do this, or they'll lose a lot of regs to MS. If this was the plan all along they should've kept everything the way it was. But, it does make me wonder what they're going to do with the old tournament area. Those tables will only fill with cash/SNG games on the weekend, and even then they'll need more dealers/floor to run them.

This is why I hate them closing The Stadium. Any bar will have 1-3 games on. The racebook bar will show most of them but it's a small area, it'll definitely be filled by 1pm. The poker room will have several games on, but what you get to see depends on where your seat is, not to mention you'll have to be playing too.

edit: For the 1pm games, it'll be fairly random as far as what games will be showing at any given location, but for the 4pm games I bet you'll get to see the Pats/Jets game at every single location on property.

Ya the Stadium set up was sweet for NFL sunday. No way I am playing during the Pats/ Jets game should be a good one.

lots of confusion among players last night on what the Saturday promotion entails. Some said that only "qualifying points" will count. As in the points earned playing a 10-hour session or more.

No one was sure and one guy said he asked at the rewards desk and they said they didnt know?
