Actually, I only play at Foxwoods when my husband goes with me. When I am alone, I much prefer Mohegan and think that the extra 40 minutes, round trip, is well worth it.

Well his point is that even if you are disappointed you're still going to go back... so why would they change anything?

The offers they provide are still.better than mohegan. I think we players take advantage of it. With that said I love the rooms....I know many regs that only play there on several nights in a row BC of the rooms.

I'm sure the rooms will.come back when peak season dies down.

I just called BTW and I have my rooms up until July. So its still random I think

I think the rooms in general are random (as well as point offers)

me and my fiance always go together. we always play the same level as the other (usually limit 2/4 or 1/2NL.

our earned points are always the same.... however they send me offers about 10 out of every 12 months for 10 points per week just to go down and swipe my card. She has not gotten 1 yet. I have received hotel rooms, she has not - I don't care what people say, its random. When we play table games (which is rare) she gives them her card and we ask to both be rated on hers. (not sure if they rate both of us or just her,but we always ask)

its completely random I know there is some logic to the levels, but other than that they just pick random people and throw crap their way because they figure if someone says "oh I'm going to foxwoods to get some comps" others are going to go with them thinking they'll get the same comps its genius marketing if you ask me.

Went tues and thurs the stud action was good both days nice 20/40 games I played in a 10/20 horse game which was amazing to see a mixed game like that action was ok, but its not a game fish would flock to anyway. Tried to get a PLO8 game going but it wasn't to be before I left for the day. The 1/2NL and 2/5 action didn't look great on tues. thurs they had a 10/20NL game running with a full table.

yea 10/20NL has been running pretty consistently. i don't play that high but it's cool to see the bigger games pop up more.

Its been great having the 10/20NL run consistently lately, but its been entirely to the detriment of the 5/10NL (to the point where the 5/10NL has broken the last few nights, with a full 10/20NL game running). A lot of the 5/10 regs have stepped it up, someone needs to start agitating the 2/5 regs to step up and fill the void! To action!

Which blondie are you referring to?

that's actually kind of discouraging to hear (for me), because I usually play 1/2 or 2/5 and wanted to step up to 5/10... but def am not ready for 10/20...

going down in a few hours, hopefully the action is juicy today

That's good to hear that's running again...it'll open up the 5/10 for some fishier tables

I'll be playing 5/10 more consistently before the end of the summer. I feel like 2/5 to 5/10 is a bigger jump than 1/2 to 2/5 because 2/5s max buy in is short. and i definitely don't want to start playing a new limit regularly and be under rolled. all in time.

Ummm not the same one, the one your referring to is a 2/5 to 5/10 the other blondie has been a regular at 5/10 and higher since crap maybe even before 05'. I've played with both numerous times and my opinion is "one" is much better than the other.

Ummm Ive played there the past winter for four days a week and never noticed this description.....mainly 2/5 sometimes 5/10. The only female reg has dark brown hair and young that I know of....and a semi reg 5/10 with dirty brown hair not fitting your description.

Hey guys,if anyone who reads this works at FW and knows the answer please speak up:

I wanna play a Hu 20k freezout NLHE with my buddy(yes we are best friends and love beating each other out of money), $25/50 blinds both buyin 20k and play till one busts. We are both willing to pay whatever we have to.
One of us will end up with 40k at the end(no tipping during hands) everything like that will be taken care of after... any idea if FW will allow this?and if so... how much? I'll ask a floorguy next time i go.

Just out of curiosity but why even get the casino involved. Couldnt you just do this at a private residence and get someone to deal for you.

I agree. You know the casino would want some kind of "juice" before the first card is pitched. No need to have the table "roped off " or TV/media coverage for this event.
