Just finished a 9 hour session. Here is my TR
I guess I’ll start with getting to Wellington Station. There was already a shuttle bus at the stop but they were not letting anyone on even though there was a pretty long line. 5 minutes later another shuttle bus pulls up and we all pile in. After being seated fir a few minutes, they told us this wasn’t the shuttle we would be using either. Luckily, right then another bus pulls up. It was about a 10 minute drive to the casino
On my way I sign up for a seat on poker atlas. When I arrived in the poker room, my name was not on the list. I show them my verification and the guy just kept repeating himself, “there hasn’t been any problems with poker atlas”. Whatever, just put me on the list.
The cage and the red card lines were soooo craaaaaazzy slow. It’s like the cashiers hadn’t ever counted cash or chips before. There were 8 people behind the cage but only 2 were doing anything.
After a 15-20 minute wait, I’m called to a new game.
Action is insanely good. People overvaluing top pair and the chips were flying.
Drink service is soooo slow. We didn’t even see a waitress for the first hour. The do have a nice “cleavage window”. Thanks for the awesome new term for my vocabulary Mind Reader.
The bathrooms are the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a casino. Doors and walls go to the floor. They use actual soft, quilted toilet paper. There is also a full time attendant
They only give you 30 minutes to eat =\
So I walked over to On Deck and ordered a burger to go. Was quoted 20 mins. I walked back to my table and returned 20 minutes later. Basically the next 30 minutes are a big cluster**** that ends with them giving me a refund but also not the burger I ordered. $18 for a blah burger that did not include fries or a pickle.
There was only one incompetent dealer at my table and one who should be fired for how openly hostile he was to patrons.
Dealers can call string bets at Encore
I heard two diff things concerning the bbj timeline. The one thing that was agreed on is that each hand will have its own progressive bbj starting with quad 2s.
My main concern with this place is that when something went wrong, the attitude was just like, “oh well”
I ended up taking my chips with me as both cages were severely backed up.
It took me 2 hours and 4 modes of transportation to and from the casino but I’m still glad I didn’t go to Foxwoods.
