Pro Tip: Reading comprehension is your friend
All That being said I think you have a keen sense for the obvious when you stated that a business is there to make money... I believe your phrasing was "to take our money".... Let me guess, Wharton School of Business?
PS They're taking your money not mine... in business it's their right to charge what they want but it's my right to decide if I want to give them my business which I don't... would you be happy buying gas at the most expensive gas station in the country or your groceries at the store that charges $10 for a gallon of milk? You also said they're not there to make you happy?... The most successful and well run business's in this world take your money AND make you happy, it doesn't have to be one or the other as you suggested.
Not sure what made you butthurt... is it that I pointed out that it's not very cerebral to play there considering it might be the most expensive place in the country to play? No disrespect intended but it's just odd that people don't realize that the prospect of being a winning player long term is probably in the 1% range (FYI: most people that think they are winning or "break even" players are really losing players)... Fun fact: It will be even less than 1% when the current bonus money reserves dry up and it'll be $12 or $13 per hand, what will your opinion of the place be then?
What's frustrating about the whole thing is that for many reasons we went from having one of the best poker rooms in the country right in out backyard to one of the worst!!!
Sorry that I didn't get the memo saying if I didn't agree with your opinion on the place I should "ignore and move on"... almost sounds like you work there...
