Stan ...played in the wpt HORSE tourney and had a great time.....had a huge stack 1st day only to donk it off and end up 4 places shy of the cash...are there any chances of a weekly sunday HORSE tourney?(or any day)

Stan, thought the floor mishandled this ruling. Late last night at 2/5 table number 54 there was a situation in multiway limped pot where I thought it checked through to me in late position but actually a guy in mid position never checked and meant to bet. The dealer flashed the turn and set aside the deck so that flop action could be corrected. Well MP guy bet, I folded CO called and SB mucked his cards into the live deck not the muck. They were messy and his cards not distinguishable. BB called. Floor was called and they ruled that the dealer should shuffle the deck with SB's cards in them and deal turn and river!

There is no way that is the right ruling. Two floor guys agreed on this by the way. For example if MP had JJ on a low board and CO had an ace high flush draw, MP isn't gonna be happy when SB's folded ace shows up on the turn or river. Just one of many situations where this could have ended up with a bunch of angry players.

FWIW, I have no idea what the right ruling is just that that isn't it.

How many people checked after player did not act on his hand? If the dealer indicated it was your turn to act and a sufficient number of people checked, an early player who did not stop the action going in fron of him, should not now be given the option to bet. I know one AC casino where the small blind is given the option to bet after nine checks, by some dealers, but I suspect the error may have been by allowing a player who did not call 'time' or make an effort to stop the action, a second chance to bet?

I was in HJ and a guy to my right checked and the dealer indicated it was my turn. I checked and CO quickly checked and basically right then MP spoke up. It happened pretty fast. MP was an older and slower Asian guy who was counting out chips when this all happened, looked up, and stopped the action just as turn was coming out.

I think OP feels the problem lies in the deck getting reshuffled with the SB's cards in the deck. What else can be done at that point? You can't simply replay the hand. With the SB's cards getting reshuffled, the hand plays the exact same as before for the two players still in the hand. Same outs, same everything.

Player forfeited right to bet as there was too much action which the dealer managed: I think if the dealer indicated to three players beyond player whose turn it was to act, to act and they check, player who did not stop substantial action in fron of him,

Quick question/idea: when players miss their big bling (away from the table), why don't dealers place them as inactive in the Bravo system? This way, dealers can know how long they've been inactive for without the need to count absent buttons.

This dude's been gone for an hour & a half and I want his seat. The dealers have been forgetting to place absent buttons (not complaining about that, it happens). :/

No, not this. I don't want the dealers turning into babysitters. They already forget to update the Bravo as it is. I want them to primarily concern thensleves with smoothly running the games. Occasionally people disappear for awhile. That's just life in Poker World. Find another table.

It's two button clicks on the Bravo system. I'm sure the dealers can handle that. And I shouldn't have to find another table. That's a ridiculous argument.

how much does a cab run from ACY to water club? are there any cheap shuttle options?

i agree. i hate it when guys go to dinner without going on a dinner list. just let's a game get short handed or puts someone in a third man walking position unfairly. if you're gone more than a half hour your chips should be picked up. a quick button push on bravo would do the trick.

does the water club have its own entrance and check in desk? or do you still go to the borgata check in desk?
