Sounds like the HOSE game is a better idea since it's easier to keep going with the flop games in the mix? Either way I'll be there.

Yeah, I'll probably play in the 4/8 HO(s)E game if it's running. I probably won't play if it's just 4/8 stud because it's not quite as fun and the table doesn't fill very well (making me feel bad about taking a 5-10 minute break).

Also, if you're there at 2, sit at the table for 5 minutes. Last Saturday people kept coming by the table, saying there weren't enough people and that they'd be back. It took like 15 minutes for all of those people to actually be in the same place at the same time even though everyone wanted to play.

Just want to commend the Borgata staff for running a great tournament.

I played in the Summer Open Event #1, made it to the final day, but went busto pre-in-the-money (damn KK). The staff and dealers act professionally and are friendly and the Borgata Poker Blog makes it feel like a big time event even though it was only a $350 buy-in.

Hands down for AC, it's best room for cash games and tournies.

Played @ Borgata a little bit for the past three days. The 1/2 PLO was going strong with a list most of the day today. I'm sure the $350+$50 PLO tournament today helped with that a ton.

I don't think we were taking a jackpot drop. Would be good to add that in though. One of the 10/20 mixed game regulars mentioned this game would be nice at $5/10, then its just one step up to the $10/20 game. Where $4/8 up to 10/20 seems like a large jump. (Even though the skill level at the 10/20 sucks compared to the 4/8, heh)

Poker players at Borgata earn poker rates from previous play. We do not count hours of play and adjust rates later. If you would be a new player at the Borgata i will take tare of your reservation personally. Send a PM with your information such as Borgata Card (if you have one), dates in which you would like to stay, Phone #. After your stay I will check your play for possible futures poker rates. This would continue until the system gives a rank in which you will be able to take care of it yourself by calling customer care.

These charts show the non-Hold Em games. In most cases these games only have 1 table running so instead of showing average number of tables, this chart displays the % of live game reports in which these games are running. The day of the week with the greatest chance of the game running is highlighted in yellow. Click the bar to enlarge the image.

This is probably a weird question, which would cover the Borgata as well.. What are the NJ gaming rules about straddle, multiple runs and the likes of stupid things you see on HSP and such? Could we run a board twice? Could we chop before showdown? Does the Borg allow these if NJ does?

While straddle is not legal, 3 blinds are. It would be rather amusing to try getting the table to vote on changing the game for one hand.

It's not that simple. I have to get every game that we spread approved by the CCC. Every limit, every game type, the blinds, the rake, the time, you name it i have to get it approved. I could but it takes a little time. So give me some lead time to get everything ready!.
