This....

I am 31 and still get carded. Not sure why it bothers people so much. Get a stamp and you're all set.

I also don't believe the person that said they got the stamp and proceeded to get carded more than ever for the next two hours. Getting the stamp means a floor has carded you...as has security and they have given you the stamp.

Well, I couldn't tell for sure since it was my first time there, but it seems like they were there often. Maybe they usually played higher limits? The more talkative one seemed to be pretty observant and able to outplay those that tried to trap him. I only noticed that during my last session, so I think this type of player would be rare at that level.

Yeah, the dealer explained that to me after that, but I found it funny that I got several alcoholic drinks over the weekend, and the only time a waitress carded me was when I got OJ.

Same thing happened to me....got the stamp one time and got carded at every table game that night.

I questioned a pit boss and he told me the dealers can still ask for id because the stamp isn't an official id?!? (last time I ever got the stamp!!)

Same here. Floor told me the stamp wasn't official so she still checked my ID. I haven't gotten a stamp since then.

So, the rhetorical question that I have is "What's the point in getting stamped if it's not 'official' and you'll get ID'd anyway"

I don't really care because I won't get ID'd.

Anyway for all this cardind banter...if the bad beat hits and someone under age is at the table..there may be a little problem..so yeah when u get carded its annoying but when u see someone else at ur table get carded who may be questionably young be happy they are getting carded cause it could save a big headache...strickly bad beat purposes is my only care about this situation

This exact scenario happened to me. The first directions I got were terrible.

EDIT: You must survive playing at the Taj.

You have no chance of walking out alive if you are part of that BBJ at Taj. Thank god Borgata's is getting pretty heavy; at least I know I'll make it out of the city if I were to get the most of it.

Anyone know how long event #8 ($300 NL tourney) would last assuming 350 players register. Start with 10,000 chips and each level is 40 minutes.

thanks.

Hi Stan,

I'm confused about the details on the website but for the main event in the summer open, what will the guarantee be, one or two million?

I'm very excited about this event, 2k buy in is a lot more feasible then the usual 3500, how come it's not a WPT event this year

As I recall, the Borgata's WPT event is usually in September not the Summer Open.
