I was wondering what he meant by that. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but its hard to see what other meaning he could intend besides the obvious.

Anyone else have problems with their My Borgata card where the comps expire prematurely? My comps seem to expire a month after I earn them. I always have to go to the help desk and get it put back on.

The easiest thing to do to correct this is to insert your card into a slot machine when you come in. You don't have to play, just insert it.

Just thought I would say that I also have had the offers taken away when I checked My Borgata Rewards online. Hopefully it is a fluke that will be fixed soon as others have speculated. Would be nice to hear when someone gets a definative answer though.

Hello Stan,
You will see in this thread a player named JayRounder referring to having a "win with my partners" in the 10-25 plo game. I am a regular player in your high limit nl and plo games and I played with these "partners" at length thursday - saturday night this weekend. Openly referring to having a "win with my partners" is crossing the line ethically in my opinion. Thinking back on the game I am able to remember a few situations in which a player min raised a pot giving a partner a chance to reraise and squeeze other players in a bad spot. It is possible that such play could result purely out of playing for one's own self interest in the game, but taken together with JayRounder's post I have no choice but to question what was going on. Such admissions should be publicly condemned and fair play encouraged in your card room.

LOL at my coming back to day two with exactly 10 big blinds (24300) and being seated right next to the chip leader (499500).

Stan/Floor,

A couple of questions on the "Winter Open": Event #5 H.O.S.E. - What are the betting limits for Hold 'em (NL/Limit?) and Omaha (NL?, PL?, limit?) and is it high only Omaha?

Event #7 O H/L 8B limit?
Event # 19 Omaha/Stud 8B Omaha H/L? limit?

Will be up for at least a couple events, planning on lugging some players from home game as well, they all prefer H/L.
Thanks,
AW

hmm...I have only 4 comps listed online (room and a few comedy tickets), but when I was at Borgata the other night, I definitely had more offers. I think it's just an online glitch, hopefully?

They seem to be missing grey chips and up. Also lol @ their descriptions of games. Apparently 10/20 limit is very tough during the week!!

So if someone is playing 2/5, paying $5/half hour, and earning $2/hr (right?) in comp...

how many hours does one need to play (over X months?) to get the 1000 points needed to get a black card?

I assume each X comp $ = Y Tier points?

Thanks for the explanation.

2/5 = $2/hr in comps. You need to earn $1,000 in 1 yr to get a black card.
1,000 / 2 = 500 hours in one year.

My true cost..:

Assuming 2 trips per week @ 6 hrs each.. or 12 hrs/week = 600 hrs
2 trips per week = 100 trips
=================
$6000 / rake (600 hrs * $10/hr)
$4300 / gas ($43 in gas / rd trip)
from http://www.newjerseygasprices.com/TripCalculator.aspx using 10023 to AC
$ 500 ($5 parking per trip - until earned black card)
$1360 tolls ($2.45 down, $3.15 up, $8 tunnel = $13.6 ea trip)
from http://www.starledger.com/str/indexp...on/parkway.asp

=================
$12,160

Or $20/hr played... those $2 comp don't add much!

Can someone log a formal complaint and description in person so the poker room could investigate and ban these clowns?

At that level in PLO, I would be shocked to hear that the other players did not see such rampant collusion (especially easy in PLO formats) of say two or three players consistently squeezing other players out of pots, and then not betting each other anymore.

Or at least I hope this would have been caught and acknowledged.
