i do, however, understand the moderators PoV on this.

2p2 uses massive amounts of bandwith and Matt Skalansky, et al put huge amounts of time into the community. As this is essentially their full time job, they need to enforce the advertising rules so that they can pay for website expenses as well as make money from their efforts put into the community.

Hopefulyl somethign will be worked out.

Other poker room directors are also free to provide various information and updates when requested. So I think this issue is resolved. let me know if I have something wrong.

Thank you Mat. That is directly in line with what was stated by *TT* here:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/55...-forum-546917/

I have not seen a game report provided without a request for it and I've read almost every page of this thread.

I second this. Stan never posts a game report being asked for one

Consequently, he's asked for one about 10-15 times a day.

What the heck is going on here??? People (regs or employees of other rooms obviously) have a problem with Stan providing info when asked...again!!???

You gotta be kidding me.

This is a BRICK AND MORTAR sub-section of the forum. What exactly is it for? 234 "how much should I tip on BBJ" and "is this guy angling or am I being too thin skinned" threads?

As far as I can tell, The Borgata (Stan) and Venetian (dcarp) have official poker room directors/employees communicating directly with their patrons. This is a GOOD....check that...GREAT service. It's also why (far and away) they are most popular rooms in AC and Vegas respectively.

If other casinos cared, they could take the time to do the same. I don't see how this is FREE publicity. If there are 22 (1-2NL) and 14 (2-5NL) games going on this Sat and Stan relays that message...how exactly is that a bad thing?

This is like the 2nd or 3rd time stuff has hit the fan. Listen, I used to be a player at the Taj and Showboat until about 18-24 months ago. The Borgata stole me away due to game selection, cleanliness and customer service....not because the poker room director was slinging buffet coupons on a poker forumn.

Let the man do what he does....something that FORUMS MEMBERS ASK FOR.

STAN IS THE MAN.

all seems to be well now so let's get back to how awesome the place is.

I can't make the upcoming Deepstack but I will def be playing the Deep Stack Triple Play next month.

Stan, I know all the particulars as far as:

$300-$50
25,000 Chips
50 Min levels....60 min second day
1A, 1B, 1C, options..

BUT, are the blind levels the same as the Deep Stack taking place in 5 days?

I can't see any way that the Triple play doesn't get at least 1,000 runners. Especially having the day 1's on Fri, Sat, Sund....not to mention the afforability.

Prize pool should be WELL north of $300K

Every Main Event is two days unless the there are less than 100 entrants (then it will be a 1 day event).

If you bust on Day 1A, you can't rebuy during Day 1A, but you can re-enter on Day 1B or 1C (or both if you bust on Day 1B as well). I'm sure Stan or TAB will correct me if I am wrong, but I think that's right.

A re-buy tournament (in this case) is a tournament where you bust out or have a chip total under a certain amount that qualifies you to re-buy. You retain your seat and a chip runner and cashier will assist in the transaction.

A re-entry tournament (in this case) is a tournament where you bust out of the tournament and then you go to the cashier and repeat the buy-in process. You may be given a different seat at a different table.

There are a couple of tournaments in the Winter Open that you may re-enter. Once again, if you bust out of one of these tournaments (by a certain level, say level three) you may go back to the cashier area and buy-in again and receive a new table and seat assignment. You may only do this one time.

When it comes to the Double and Triple play tournaments, if you bust out, you may re-enter but on a different starting day. So if you buy-in on Day 1a and bust you may buy into Day 1b or day 1c or both if you also bust out of Day 1b. Confusing huh?
