Wow, so weird you said that. I noticed the new texture this weekend and said to the dealer, "You guys are bringing in new chips huh?" The dealer looked puzzled, so I pointed out that the old chips did not have the checkered look and feel, yet some of these do. I threw him a chip and he said, "Yeah guess so." Pretty much ended at that after the table laughed off the possibility of them being fake. Just figured there were new chips being incorporated in.

Nice try, Stan.

We all know that Borgata poker chips have electronic tracking chips inside of them that have a by-product of creating magnetic fields. Because the Borgata poker chips are property of Borgata, Borgata wants to know how many chips are in circulation and where they are located at all times.

Or am I imagining Borgata as "Big Brother?"

I just want to add my disappointment about the 4-8 HOSE game. I'll be there this weekend, if we set a time to try to get it going again.

I don't agree that the 10-20 2way game is such a nit-fest, but with the half-kill it plays much bigger than the 4-8 game (thus a bit bigger than I'm comfortable with).

If the 4-8 game won't work, perhaps the 5-10 H/L Omaha game is more likely -- I'll certainly play either game that goes.

I'd love a 5-10 O8/b game. Isnt the 10/20 a split O8/Stud8?

I'm sorry, I don't know what O8/b is (is the "/b" a typo?). Yes, the 10/20 2way is O8/Stud8.

Just another way of writing O8. /b = or better. Thus, O8/b = Omaha 8 or better

Ah, thanks. I guess I always assumed that was implied (it'd be an odd game if you HAD to make an 8 low!).

even though I run like donkey when I go to the Borg (and only the borg for some reason) I once again must thank and congratulate Stan for a great poker room and somehow finding me a hotel room on the weekend in the summer.

Thanks again.

Anyone going to be playing at the Borg tomorrow? I am planning on making a day trip. Hopefully from 10:30am till about 9:30pm. Going to be playing 3/6, maybe 5/10 or 10/20 if the mood strikes.

someone clicked the notify moderator button on this post which made me realize that there still may be some lingering misunderstanding of our policies so I thought I should take this moment to explain that Stan's post above is 100% a-ok with us because -

1) Stan has an authorized under title declaring his affiliation with the company
2) Stan is answering a user question, representatives like Stan are welcome to answer user questions provided they aren't sales related, like for example if a book author is asked where to buy his book on heads up NL or something similar. Answering questions falls under customer support, we welcome authorized customer support representatives on 2+2 provided they are using the forum for answering user questions, not making marketing statements. Since someone asked for a game report Stan is welcome to respond.

We are happy to have Stan on the 2+2 forums answering user questions, I hope it lasts a very long time!

Can we have a standing request for a live game report? Not that I spend my life in this thread in this forum, but periodic requests to get what we all know are coming seems redundant. My $0.02.

Stan's information is wanted and needed.

So I guess that it's okay for *TT* to Spam for PokerStars with his avatar, huh?

Agreed, there's clearly a high demand for the game report and it seems perfectly reasonable to say he's allowed to post 1-2 live game reports per day.

Otherwise we're just going to clutter this threads with: "Live Game Report Please", "+1", "Any updates", and so on...

Instead of buying an expensive machine, you can let me take them all home with me and I'll scuff them up for you...
