Is it as simple as talking to a pit boss?

It's as simple as logging onto the borgata rewards site with your ID and password and seeing what room offers/comps you have. This is after you have established some play already. Also, the room offers/comps will change based on availability. Busy weekends are harder to get, but sometimes I'll log on Friday and see a Sat night room offer comped that wasn't before.

I'm not sure where to start but this is Tommy Burger King, I know its been a while but it's never to late to apologize and make right for what I did. I'm sincerely sorry for what happened at Borgata and I would like to pay you back with interest.

generally:
BK wants to flip for a sum of money (heard 2k-ish). someone agrees. BK loses, refuses to pay because his money wasn't over the betting line - you know since they agreed to flip pre and didn't move any money. floor rules they cant compel him to pay since his money wasnt over the line. they ban him since he doesnt pay.

Actually, if you do not know about it, you do need to know:

Here is some important information:

Apparently, the above article got his first name incorrect. His 2+2 screen name includes his actual first name as confirmed by Hendon Mob.

Yes you're right. I just didn't want to violate forum rules. We as a community should know. I stand corrected. I heard it was. A shot at a game above his head when he was desperate after a losing streak. Who knows? Specifics aren't important. The walking off part is.

Yep, Borgata's King blogger got it going on Twitter. It was a HOSE mix with Lowball and Badugi. Wish I was there to play, had to more fun then wanting to drive a pencil threw my head at 1-2 NL.

I'm curious how this is resolved because flips
Are not allowed by the Borgata poker
Room and not a game approved in the
State of New Jersey. Apparently,
Online poker does have flip tournaments.
The whole idea of Borgata enforcing
A contract for an unauthorized game
I find fascinating. My guess is the first
Time the dealer loses their job,
But what happens the second time?
An analogy would be underage players.
The first time they get a big fine.
Shortly thereafter everyone under
30 is carded multiple times...

not sure what you mean by flips not allowed, they can somehow prevent ppl from putting all their chips in the pot? even in imaginary world where flips not allowed there's no audio so how do you differentiate a flip and 2 or more players legitimately going all-in?

dealers don't lose jobs for single infraction at the borgata anyway short of punching out a customer

A flip may require a verbal
Contract prior to the play of
The hand AND the agreement
Of other players seated at the
Table to be dealt out of the
Hand and an agreement
By two or more players
Before the cards are dealt not
To play their hands but
To place X number of dollars
In the pot,
Lots of violations of the
Borgata poker rules,
I'm assuming the dealer
Understands English.

If you look back at the post Jigsaw linked, the only violation (according to you) is the third player's agreement to be dealt out (which it seems difficult to see as any kind of violation...maybe he took a hand off and went to the restroom). The bets went in by the book.

agreed. if the players squelched on their "agreement" to go all-in or others to "sit out" then it's on them. the borgata won't protect them. as far as the borgata was concerned, all players folded but two. those two went in all in.

burger king kept his money on the technicality that he didn't push his chips over the line (not because of disallowed betting practices). same result could have happened if there wasn't any "agreement" before the hand.

The Borgata doesn't sanction agreements
Made by players prior to the play of
The hand as to how much money
Will go into the pot. Whatever happened
After the conspiracy was agreed to
Can't legitimize the hand. I guess what
Most of you fail to see is the impact
The conspiracy entered into has
On the legitimacy of the hand.

i can see your point... tough to hold dealers responsible for anything outside the actual play of the hand... but then again this could easily go the way of collusion.

the point i think you're missing is that the money not being forced to pay out had nothing to do with the agreement, it had only to do with a technicality of not pushing chips over the line.

this is why people are saying to be very careful in how you play large all-in pots at the borgata.

Are you seriously being this obtuse on purpose? Did you go to the link jigsaw posted? The hand played out like any other HU PLO all in pre, they just didn't look at their cards first
