Usb ports would be sweet but I's settle for good old fashioned outlets/surge protectors under the table.

I probably call there poker room 2-5 times a day to see what running and drive to the casino at least once just to see. It will be very nice to have.

WHO (they) is telling you this?

From a reliable source is yes, it will be coming if approval conditions are met but these semi definitive statements form bigpotpoker are not accurate.

I know that and I'm glad it'll help you. I'm just hoping that it's not a pita for me.

Oh, cut it out, jfc. I have to run off to use the men's room a lot, can't help it, and now I might have to ask if I'm clocked in all the time. If I'm not then nbd and I'm happy for everyone that it helps.

is there any regular o8 games (no stud) around the 20 or higher limits?
The Arena Poker Room at Casino Arizona's Talking Stick Resort (Scottsdale, AZ) -- FAQ in OP Quote

To answer your question: No.

They do happen once in awhile. I know on Saturday a 40/80 O8 only game broke out, but those only happen when the right person/people want it.

Also of interest, the occasional $2 chip O8/Stud8 game has been played as 8/16 with a half kill and $2 ante. That structure looks viable and beatable if the interest keeps up.

Ante??!? There's a mid-stakes O8 game that needs action boosted by antes?

'0E' means a 08/Stud8 (E is for 'Eight or better' as an fyi for those that might not know) rotation. The antes are for the Stud8 part.

It's the live first game below 20/40 I've ever seen at CAZ that has decent money to win with steal raises. It's seldom relevant because live players mostly play too loosely. But it is great to have one low stakes game where you wouldn't mind playing against a table of Howard Beales.

lol and I take that as a compliment. A table full of Howard Beale's wouldn't let you steal the bring-in/antes easily! Maybe you mean on later streets but that would be even worse, no stealing there. I played on Sat and the game was incredible, I played today and it was playing 1/3 as big so I went to LHE. But, I'll say that I don't consider stealing on third to be a factor in that game. Just try it and see what happens to you. Those ppl are not there to fold.

It's the principle of the thing; a substantial ante rationalizes the failed bluffs.

OK. Have you tried the game? I'm only able to play Tuesdays and Saturdays 11 am to 7pm or so and haven't seen you.

I played it Saturday night but you'll have to stay up pretty late to catch some of my donations.

used to play at CAZ all the time 3/5 5 years ago when i was 21-22 and the show one show all was repeatedly called. sometimes i would intentionally show one just to see who the douche at the table was that would smugly announce that i had to show both.

tourneys at talking stick always have been tragic, way too many levels pre-ante, terrible structures skipping important levels, incompetence by tourney directors. its sad bc the room is amazing and players love playing the tourneys, it could easily have great monthly events, and even host a larger series once a year but they have no interest in gaining a reputation as a must stop amongst tourney players.

even the state championship which allows reentry only does so for the first few levels when youre so deep its tough to bust. why not leave registration open 9-12 levels like most deepstack events do? they will add to the prize pool and make it a much better event.
