As a pitiful excuse, I blame it on the free crab. I WAS BLINDED BY THE LIGHT!

Nice doodle, btw. Is there some Persian stuff in there?

Closest thing they have is spread limit. For a while they were spreading 5-500 Omaha high, but lately it seems to be mostly 10-500.

Why do we not have a sticky on page 1?

Because I started to create one, then got bored and didn't finish. And then I came back to it and realized I started it over 2 years ago and that it wasn't worth trying to do again, so I never continued.

What do you want to play?

Last I played in order of most common my estimate would be O8, deuce, badugi, superstud8, badeucy, Archie, Badacey, A-5, Holdem, other super variants.

It all depends on who starts the games and the favorites or the moment.

The problem is they start off playing what ever games. You like the games being played so you jump in and play. 10 minutes later someone comes in and says I will get in if you change the games to their wants. So the regulars all vote to change to get who they believe is a liveone. Not thinking he came to casino to gamble and will play what ever is there. So they loose players who will not get involved in the 40 mix because the several locals including a house player run the mix games and even make the decisions when dealers do not know a rule.

Have you had experiences in mid or high stakes mix games that were different than this?

Games can only be changed if the table unanimously agrees. There is a two objections rule, but almost always a reg will object along with any single objector to ensure changes are unanimous.

And most regs know the unique mix game rules better than most dealers. What would you want them do, not help the dealer to speed the game, or not speak up during incorrect rulings? you can always call for the floor if you disagree.

Does a change in games have to be unanimous or must there be two objectors?

Two objectors, but I and many regs will object with you or anyone to ensure game changes are unanimous.

I have a few exceptions though, if someone is crushing the game I may not object with them to let the stuck puppies play what they want. And if the objector has once called a woman in the game the C word, or is an equivalent level of jerk, I won't object with them. But both situations are rare.

Just logged onto Bravo Poker Live and Talking Stick is now listed, although it doesn't have the live games showing yet.

Great to see it - it's showing "no recent updates" but assume that will get fixed soon.

Click on the room and you will see it says "coming soon to Bravo Poker Live"
There will be no updates until the system/hardware gets installed and goes live in the room.
Its coming just no set date yet.

because you won't have to drive to the casino 2-3 time a day, call the poker board 2-3 times a say and send out 3-4 text messages a day to see what games are running.

also i've played with lots of out of town players that have said they would have played more/earlier but had no idea there was a casino here because they looked on bravo and didnt see anything

You drive to the casino 2-3 times a day? Wtf? If you go to the casino a few times it's pretty easy to know the schedule of when games run. Only reason I could see needing to know what games are running is if you wanted to play 75-150 mix or higher as those are sporadic.

I'll elaborate on my point of why the current system is much better.

1- Call ins- if talking stick allows call ins like every other casino with bravo allows, be prepared for regs to abuse the system. All the regs and pros that play all the time will call in and get on the list early and not have to actually show up until they are almost called. This is done by getting your name on the list them calling in to say you are at the casino(but you actually aren't, this allows you to bypass the one hour time frame you have to physically swipe into the system so you are no longer listed as a call in). Trust me this happens everywhere and I use to do it as well. This means that the casual player and fish are going to be cut out and waiting much longer to get seats.

2- marking players in and out when players leave the table. With bravo when a player misses the blinds the dealer has to remove them from the table and then add them as present when the player comes back. Thus slowing down the game and making us collect less time and money for food.

3- long term- talking stick has amazing games at almost every limit and variant. Pros from around the usa will be seeing the amount of games running and how often they run and be very interested in hoping in.
