There is assuredly a credit card fee which the CC processor charges. Someone is paying that fee. That money is coming from somewhere.

They're eating it, pretty sure. They used to let you buy chips back in the tent with gift cards purchased in the gift shop with credit cards ( 2-$500 cards max every day). I did this for many weeks until they discontinued it. I wasn't the only one in poker taking advantage of this offer but, although it was semi-widely known, not many wanted to walk to the gift shop to do it.

It looks like I'm taking a shot in the 20-40 hold 'em tonight. It's been a couple years since I played it so should be easy money for any of the regulars who happen to be playing.

The tournament generally shuts the room down.. I think they start opening cash games when they have a few tables, but I wouldn't expect to be seated before 5pm.

Does anyone know if they offer a 2-7 triple draw? Would love to play it live when I am down there in December.

They often have it as part of a mix game which is 40/80 or sometimes higher.

I played 27 nl with you once at ocean's 11. It's 1 of 2 times i've played that game lifetime. Seems like a good game to play with the 500 betting cap tho. Will they spread it? I'm going to be out there the entire tournament (mostly to see family) but I want to play something at night, and 5-10 SL is sounding less and less appealing.

Lemme know so I can freshen up on the rules/basic strategy. I will play even if it's hu against you (way better than me).

thx

With $25/$50 blinds, Deuce single draw has been an excellent green chip game when it's been run there.

Haha I remember. We play that game in the mix some, find me or whoever and you will get a game. We may need to negotiate a few games to get more players /shrug

I didn't want to pay out the bubble in the tournament today and the other players were not too happy about it but fortunately, I got some support from the 40-80 table behind me which made me feel ok about myself. Thanks guys.

CL was the format today the same as the regular weekly tournaments, or more similar to the Championship? Also how many players were there today, thinking about coming down for tomorrow's event?

194 entries today. We started with 10k chips. 20 min levels for first couple hours I think then 30 min levels. Antes introduced in third level. Took us 7 hours to play, ended up making a deal 3 ways. The last level we played was 20k-40k blinds with 4k ante. They said the structure would be identical the next 2 days despite the higher buy in.

5-10 or 10-20 spread limit all draw games, one drink per down minimum?

That might be fun - problem is that while I've played TD 2-7 I don't really know the Badeucy/Badacey variations, and I'm an OMC. So I'd need a "no drinks mandated for me" handicap (although I might have a couple). Do you guys ever play the mixed games as spread limit? Never seen it but I'm not there that much.
