This is usually because the Use For tab is improperly configured for one or more of your HUD layouts and/or you are not selecting the proper HUD from the Choose Configuration: drop-down menu. The Default HUD should be set to a site you never play, and make sure none of the other layouts have conflicting rules. Any time HM isn't sure which HUD to use, it will revert to the Default HUD (even if it is set to a site you never play).

If you play a site that doesnt provide summary information for the MTT SNG you will have to edit/complete it manually.

If you play at ftp/stars you can import the summary files.

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

Then later, you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:


Pokerstars > Lobby > Requests > Tournament History .. > 200

Then you have to create a text file, from the email, to import to HM.

I am trying to install the trial and give it a shot. When attempting to load, I get a message saying Unhandled exception "Font Verdana does not support style regular" and when I hit continue, the screen freezes at the initializing database screen.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to continue? Win 7 64 bit and computer idiot if that helps,

So my hud kept disappearing so I checked 'Force on top' which kind of works except now its always on top, so I get layers of huds when stacking tables.

The new version had the new option so now its always only on the active table, what happened to the old one that would stick to each individual table at all times ???

Four Bet Player must open the betting action then be the one to 4-bet.

First try to reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it.

If that doesn't help you will probably have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely and reimport your hands using these instructions

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? What site?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

my power went off while running ps and HM and after rebooting twice I still get this message when trying to load up HM.
An error occurred while reading the config/holdemmanager.config file: Root elements missing.
Holdem manager will now backup the old config file and create a new one for you.

Then when I click ok it says:
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. if you click continue. the app wil ignore this error and attemp to continue. Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

so i hit continue and HM never loads up.

searched and saw a 2 year old post about this problem and roy said to delete the prefs.xml file in the config file and then it will make another one.
I saw 3 files like that one prefs.xml one prefs.xml_1.04.13 and one prefs.xml_1.05.08.
I deleted all of them and rebooted. Still same error messages and wont load.

Never Mind. I uninstalled and reinstalled HM and now all works fine.
Just have to reconfigure my hud with over 40 stats and import a ton of hands now.

is it possilbe to see the total rake of all the datamined hands for a particular limit? or the aggregate stats for all those hands for that matter.

After you reconfigure your HUD make sure you Export a copy as a backup. Then if your prefs file is ever corrupt again you can simply import your old custom HUD into the new prefs file.

What update, the HM 1.11.05 update, or your poker client update? What site?

Full Tilt pre-fetch has been buggy and is still very much a beta feature. Send me some screen shots of your settings (hud options > site options) and include your config file. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager. I guess I am confused, I thought that's the option you were looking for. I thought I originally told you the option wasnt there. Now that I reread your question I dont know that our force on top ever did what you want it to do.
