Standard install path.

C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager

If you have 64 bit OS, it might be \Program Files (x86)\

Ahh RVG software, no wonder ha. Thanks fozzy.

Also, when you download someone's HUD setup using the 3 main files, does that include their color ranges?

Yes, if they assigned color ranges they should be saved in the prefs.xml file.

Sorry, I don't know off the top of my head. I am not very knowledgeable about the filters.

I'm converting from PT3 to HEM. I exported all of my PT DB's into one folder. I'm importing that folder into HEM. Now, I ask:

Look how slow it's importing. WHYYY?

There's only like 1.5M hands.

Also, I started importing that folder before. It was going at 80/s. Then, it started slowing down. I restarted. I'm importing from same folder again. Would there be duplicates that's slowing it down, or does it know to skip when it's not auto import?

By the way, my system definitely has the specs to handle this. The whole computer is going slow while HEM is trying to import though...

Seconded. And not just a generic # of hands before stats pop up (although that too would be nice), but an option to have a minimum # of hands for a specific stat situation before that stat pops up.

As an example, if a person has a 50% steal attempt from the SB, but has only tried to steal one of two possible times, that's not a very meaningful statistic, regardless of whether I have 50, 100, or even 200 overall hands on the player.

Cheers, Carl.

My computer's kinda old (AMD 3000+) so I've been blaming it for the similar results you're getting and telling myself at least it's faster than PT2. Same thing happens to me when starting a new db, it will start off fast then slow down after a while. Check back a few pages in this thread, Roy said he's testing a version that is supposed to improve the import speeds. If you dl it and it works, please let me know. Also, I don't know why but I am getting 10-20% faster speeds when I use Auto Import and point to a folder vs. using the import from folder function.

(x-post from my post in the HEM forums)

Vacuum Analyze DB not working (1.06.01e)

I know that there is a more recent release, but with all the issues w/ the HUD, I've stayed with this one...but if 01i fixes this, then I'll move to it...

That said, I stop importing and click on Vacuum Analyze DB and I get the pop up tell me not to close the DOS windown, click ok and the DOS prompt pops up for a split seconds and autocloses, then HEM tells me the vaccum is complete.

This takes approximately 0.05 seconds, so obviously, something's not correct.

Help?

do this:

Start -> Programs -> Postgresql -> pgAdmin III

Click on the "server: localhost" on the left panel, enter a password if need be. It should produce a list of databases below.

Click on the Holdemmanager database - the red X should dissapear, you are connected.

In the menu bar, choose Tools -> Maintenance. In the dialog that appears, choose the "vacuum" radio button, check the "analyze" checkbox is checked, hit OK.

few minutes later, it will be done

I have hands from lucky ace poker and when i choose an alias then it recognises the alias as pacific alias. But it doesn't show that alias on reports tab.

The import on HEM has been worthlessly slow for me. I'll ship anyone a reward on FT if they are able to help me fix the problem. My AIM is in my profile if anyone is interested in helping. Thanks

sry if this question already has been answered (searched)

but it seems that when i check "[x] disable hero stats in hud" and then press apply, ok it still wont be checked when i restart HEM and my stats wil appear in my hud, and i have to do the same thing everytime i start HEM.

for the next release
can you make sure to fix the hud
if i move seat 5 on table A, there is no reason that seat 5 on table B, and C. D to move.
on site without auto seat preference. (ongame) it's impossible to use HUD.
