my hud has stopped working about 3 days ago after working flawlessly for a month before that.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?


Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.


Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

Same for me. Just noticed it this am. Have upgraded to 1.11.06a, but the hud isn't working. table manager recognizes the tables, and the results are in the db, but the hud isn't working.

Hi ,

I have a problem with my hud at the CAP tables.. the problem is that the HUD isn't showing the stats from other tables (20-50bb) that I have gathered on the players..

Let me know if there is a fix..

New tables mean we need hand samples and screen shots to add support. One of our employees has already duplicated it and sent the hands and details to the developers to work on a solution. I do not have an ETA for release yet.

Bump. Does the EV calc not work for multi table SNG cuz I am not getting any differentiation in EV Winnings and Winnings.

Also my SNGs are all messed up and don't register the correct amount of players, game speed, etc. I have to go back after teh fact and clean up.

Hi, i just installed Hem in my computer. My os is Windows XP service Pack 3 i think. I also have Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. I did not installed PostgreSQL as i have pokerTracker installed in my computer.
When i first tried to open HEM the next message apeared from a window:

I have make HEM a trusted application in kaspersky and nothing changes. Even i have turn off my kaspersky and then try to open HEM but nothing changes.

Is there any way to generally tell how you are running in 18 man SNG's? I know EV stuff doesnt work for SNG's with more than 1 table but i though maybe just a quick comparison of winnings to cEV would be a general indication of run good/bad? Problem is i can find the cEV stat in the reports tab.

Trying to uninstall and reinstall HEM. When the setup is installing hem it says postsqrl cannot be installed.

When i boot up HEM it says failed to establish a connection w/ 127.0.0.1

What are my options? I need hem to work this is so frustrating. . .

Ive just started importing pokerstars files (normally play ftp with my HEM no problems)

prior to loading up 6 sngs i set up the hand history and tourney results in the pokerstars client.
i pointed the auto import in HEM to these folders,
unfortunately nothing loaded up during the session.

Not only that but when i go to the folders where the ps hand historys and tourney results are supposed to be it says they are empty. I have the boxed check to 'save hand history's' etc and also set to 9999 days, but for some reason nothing is saving to those folders. Do i need to insert a notepad file into those folders for the hands and results to save to or what am i missing?

edit: i was able to load the 6 sngs the manual way into my hem by requesting email and loading the results and HH's but i know there has to be a simpler way.

An idea for a feature: in the hands view allow to right click -> copy in a converted forum to post in forums.
Also sometimes I view my marked hands, and I want to go from a marked hands, to the hand that came after it in the tournament, I wish there was an easy way to do that.

SNG EV is based on ICM and is only calculated on single table games. It is not possible to calculate EV on multi-table tourneys.

What site are you having problems with results? I am going to assume pokerstars:

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client and add the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

You have to use VirtualBox, BootCamp, Paralells, etc, to install windows for HM/Poker on a MAC. We do not support MAC directly.

I have make HEM a trusted application in kaspersky and nothing changes. Even i have turn off my kaspersky and then try to open HEM but nothing changes.

If none of that helps, try to uninstall Kaspersky, restart your PC, enable windows firewall, and install microsoft security essentials for anti-virus protection while kaspersky is removed.

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

i just busted out of the HU ftops tourney for 0 cash. in HEM the tournament was listed as completed but with unknown buyin so i entered the buyin amount under buyin. so far so good. then i entered the rake amount under rake and as soon as i hit OK the tournament disappeared from my results! i reimported the file but it said its already been imported (every hand was a duplicate). but the tournament is nowhere to be seen! help!

edit: is it because the rake is so disproportional for this tourney (300 rake v 10000 buyin) that HEM just spazzed out?)

Cannot get postgreSQL to uninstall for the life of me. Tried using revo uninstaller didnt work. Tried going to control panel and add/remove programs to delete it and no luck either. Always just says it cannot complete uninstalling.

I have windows xp and i dont believe i am using any security systems atm.

Any suggestions on how to uninstall postgreSQL would be much appreciated. . .

No, this is not possible but it has been suggested. I do not have an ETA for when it might be an available feature.

Did it write a summary file in addition to the hand history files?

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.


If that doesn't work, try importing it to a new database. if you still get inaccurate/incomplete results, please zip and email the problem hand histories and the summary, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

What version are you unable to uninstall? Was it installed with HM? PT3? Or was it a separate installer? Are you sure you dont have some unusual security software of some sort? If you want to check, please install ccleaner and run their Tools > Uninstall > Save to test file... option, and post the list here for me to see. Install a different version, on a different port. Default port is 5432 so use one of the following manual installers and pick port 5433 during installation.
