Ill watch the pilot of Battle Creek just because of who is behind it. Frankly I am not sold on how long I will stick with it, not least because I am not a fan of the actors and the concept is pretty well worn, but it could easily be this season's Elementary which I expected to hate but learned to love.
I have heard of Gotham and it seems really interesting. I think, ironically, I would be more buzzed if it was from the CW than Fox given their recent history but a show themed around the Batman universe but following the ordinary cop Jim Gordan dealing with corruption and characters like the Penguin terrorising the city sounds awesome. How it pulls off basically being a Batman series where Batman is a secondary character because he is still just the young child just after his parents were murdered is hugely interesting idea and also likely its biggest flaw. Donal Logue is so good I would watch him in anything, conveniently helped because I like basically everything he does.
Last Man on Earth starring and written by Will Forte is one I will love and it will be super duper mega cancelled quickly. Or it will be a massive cult hit that will get massive buzz. Or both.
I like John Mulaney's standup and like his characters on the Show Kroll, so have high hopes for a show that literally looks like Mulaney watched Seinfeld and said "I could do that".
Marry Me will be hilarious. I love everyone involved.
