What are ppl's opinions on Fargo? I know it has an extremely low post count thread, so I figure there are not many viewers, worth giving a shot?

Last night on Cutthroat Kitchen in the final round, this guy has over $15,000 left to bid with. The woman has $1,300. Alton Brown starts the sabotage bidding at $500. Dude insta bids $2,000 and then brags about it. He then loses and woman walks away with $1,300.

there's a new show called Believe. i like it. it's sappy. it's about an ex con who broke out from death row and now he's helping to protect a 10 year old girl who has psychic powers. the govt is after her to use her. it's jj abrams

Please place it between two shows on the Vermin Hyperbole Scale. I only have had time to watch the first one, so I need to know your answer before proceeding.

it's not really a hyperbole kind of show. it's not great or terrible. i've watched all 7 episodes, and if you've seen the first episode you know exactly what you're getting. i will say that it's miles ahead of Blacklist and fatass james spader and that girl with 0 appeal. or that other pos show with all the kidnapped rich kids. talk about a completely boring, phoned in production. no one on that show gives a ****, and no one watching gives a **** either. but that one girl...

she should win an oscar or emmy or nobel prize imo

but back to Believe, the acting is surprisingly good. the little girl is good. and they got a bunch of actors from cable shows. they got octavia from Rome and Luck. they got the injured gladiator from spartacus. and the mom from Banshee

the show is geared more towards women and girls than 24 year old poker playing males though.

hahaha, nice. My wife said Crisis was horrible (for her), which meant I snap deleted all of them before watching a single episode. She stopped after maybe 3 episodes on Believe, but I'm still willing to see if it's worth watching. I thought the first episode was really mediocre (especially for Cuaron), but the end had a nice hook, and Delroy Lindo is someone I love watching. I thought the girl was really good in the first episode, something that is not a given in that age range, so I guess I'll plod through it all at some point (or at least as many as I can take). I want to see your Hyperbole Meter for Bates Motel.

if you weren't much impressed with the first episode of believe, don't waste your life away watching it. i only watched it because i was desperately procrastinating. pretty sure i cried in every episode. that should tell you something about my sanity.

i doubt i'll ever watch bates motel. tv horror is like the worst genre imaginable. you remember that painful failure from some network a year or 2 ago about some ghosts on the amazon river? hahaha! i watched one episode of that because a model told me to watch it, and i usually try whatever a model suggests.

not really horror but i'm liking From Dusk Til Dawn. i've watched like 4 episodes.

Bates Motel really isn't a horror show (why I don't know, but whatever). You'd love Vera Farmiga in it. It's worth watching just for her, and her crazy antics.

John Oliver's new HBO show starting this Sunday 2300ET. This could potentially be the best show of its type even topping TDS.

If you have ever watched and enjoyed "Naked and Afraid" even just a little bit, you must watch the season 2 episode 6, "Bolivia". It's beyond words.
