Agreed. And like someone else said, ratings would change along with new episodes/developments. It's not really fair to rate once & done.

I think it's best to discuss like we do in each thread.

yeah a poll is a terrible idea! who wants to have the option of being able to glance at a chart when he can read pages of posts?

you guys convinced me. i'd much rather have just a wall of text to sort through with no poll.

Using Lester's poster as an example proving yourself right is pretty lol.

Apparently IMDB already ranks TV shows and not just films, so go there if you really want to crowd source opinions on TV condensed down to a single number.

Yeah, that's as close as you're gonna get, though it's often laughably off.

And while you're there, click on the Lullaby Trailer on the front page. I mixed that.

Louie was just absolutely perfect tonight. Now that it's back, I remembering how great it is. Arguably the best show on tv right now.. Right up there with Fargo and MM.

Is it possible to pick up now if I haven't watched from season 4? Or is there a big story somewhere I need to know.

i don't know what's going on in season 9, but a ton of stuff happened in seasons 5-8. imo you could watch without being caught up.

you know what seasons 1-4 were like, so just imagine if you skipped 2 and 3. you probably could have watched season 4 just the same.

btw, most people say season 5 was one of the best, if not the best..... i think. i get them confused myself.

Alright, cool, thanks. Think my gf watched the whole thing, so she'll catch me up if I need it.

Just don't have time to watch tons of old seasons. So much good stuff recently.

You absolutely don't need to watch the later seasons.. Unless Chloe wasn't introduced by s4 yet, I don't remember. But yeah, 5 was prob one of the best so I'd watch that just because it's entertaining.

started watching this bc, well what else am i gonna do at 3 am on a weds night. this show is not good, but it should be A LOT worse. its cheesy bad in a way that somehow only these 1 season shows nbc keeps rolling out are. and like, the status quo (fbi+spooky company chase girl, girl+guy run and she helps random person each week on the way) cant possible stay in tact, but somehow it remains the same each week. still, it (most specifically the relationship between the two main characters) has a certain charm to it that if you can just turn your mind off and watch tv, i could see enjoying it.

How many episodes have you seen? That's about as close to a snap deleting it from my DVR recommendation as I've seen, so far (only watched the Pilot).

that's a pretty fair review. they cast some good actors on the show. that helps a ton.

i'd recommend deleting it unless you're desperate for stuff to watch. i think i read somewhere that it's getting cancelled.

I think I posted my feelings on teh show. It's just barely 3rd tier for me. Too repetitive. If you want some fun scifi check out orphan black.

That's on my one day agenda, without about half a dozen other shows I need to make time to watch. Maybe I'll be able to this summer, though I watch a lot of other shows in the summer too.

Battle Creek and Gotham seem like the only ones with any potential. It's only ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox so not like anyone was expecting much of anything there, amirite?

Aside from the ones you mentioned I thought these looked interesting.

Quote:
Marry Me: Happy Endings creator David Caspe's new comedy series stars the beloved-and-canceled-too-soon ABC sitcom's standout Casey Wilson (his real-life fiancé), who gets engaged to Veronica Mars' Ken Marino and realizes it's harder than it looks.
I want this to be good as Happy Endings being cancelled was a crime, and I love Ken Marino, but tbh I'm not holding my breathe.

Quote:
Backstrom: The Office's Rainn Wilson returns to TV in another hate-to-love-him role in Bones creator Hart Hanson's new crime drama. "He's truly despicable. He's really mean. And racist. And he hates women. And he hates himself," Wilson recently told us.
Could be alright, could very well be another crappy detective show.

I think there were about 6 on the list that I'm interested in, but think that many of those shows won't make it. Mr. Robinson getting picked up is a very bad sign for Community, unless they're thinking of expanding that type of show.

I don't think there's any chance that Battle Creek won't be a good show, and is probably the only show on the list I'm excited about.

i love ken marino too. that guys is hilarious. but that show will probably be godawful.

i'll probably try the one where katherine heigel is the cia agent, but i'm sure it's going to be terrible
