What other shows would you rank a 6.5/10?

6.5 means watchable, but nothing to get excited about. it has some good to great moments, and a lot of meh to crap moments

I've only seen POI, a few episodes of S.H.I.E.L.D., and all of The Walking Dead. POI is on a far superior plane to all of those, and I would guess that your ranking would be like a 5/10 to me, the border of what I would consider watchable (I tend to let The Walking Dead pile up in my DVR). If you think 19-2 didn't take a big fall from the first episode, I'll check it out in a few weeks.

i watched first and maybe second season of POI, but i lost interest. i keep meaning to come back to it.

my guess is that 19-2 won't be that great. i think the actors are too weak. i was just curious if anyone else had seen it, and what they thought.

fwiw, i lost interest in shield after like 6 episodes, and i'm a huge whedon fanboy.

you're probably right though, POI is better than all those other shows

Watched S02E01 of 'King of the Nerds'. For me, the players didn't grab me like last season's did but I'm still in. I give the producers props for the Meta part, that was good.

I thought it was still quite good and deserves me continuing to watch it.

Any thoughts after e2 of rake? I haven't watched an ep yet kinda looks like it's going to get cancelled anyway.

I'll get back to you later today. I'm going to try to watch it this evening. If it's the same as the first episode, I'm probably going to quit it. If it's better or worse, I'll let you know. Odds right now are very high that it will get canceled, unless it's just doing killer numbers in DVR, and I don't think that's happening.

I watched this based on the posts in this thread and have to say that was a good investment of my time. Quality show.

Just watched E02 and I liked it. I like that these nerds, even when they try and play the reality show game, are still just socially inept to make it incredibly awkward. The villain coming out in this episode was great.

it's pretty mediocre. other than kinnear not much going for it. to me the courtroom stuff just doesn't work.

New episode of Enlisted was funny. I will be pulling frowny faces all over the place if they get cancelled.

Possibly the best episode of Raising Hope ever. Dillahunt is amazing.

Second episode was actually pretty decent, and I'll definitely stick with it now (Kinnear elevates what would be a below average show into being decent). I think the show also plays a little better to people who have lived in Los Angeles, but I don't think it's crucial to have that experience.

I think you can maybe watch a little of the first episode, just to see some background, but I'd recommend almost anyone skipping the Pilot. It doesn't really add much, and you basically just miss the establishment of him as the classic degen. Just get past the point where something happens in the bathroom, then watch maybe the last 15 minutes of the Pilot (just so that episode two plot lines can pay off for you), and then you can probably go to the second episode.

5 episodes in on Helix and I have literally no idea what the show is and what is really going on. I cant work out if I am watching it "wrong" somehow or if it is intentionally made with a highly fragmented plot where everyone has secrets that the show refuses to do more than hint at.

I gave up on helix after 3 episodes. Hysterical doctors and zombie ****. Whatever.

The second episode of the Black Sails tonight seals the deal for me, its going to be a fun show to watch.

I think Rake is pretty good, I enjoy it a lot. The main character is fun and interesting. No compelling story for now but I enjoy just watching him going around.

Enjoying BBC's Musketeers. It's not going to win any awards but it's good fun.

I have to admit I gave up 3/4 through the second episode, I just wasn't feeling it.

I might marathon them when they are all out if the reviews stay positive.

Anyone have thoughts on Looking so far? I really want to love it (I'm a sucker for the exterior shots of SF) but I feel like it's hard to not see it as the gay west coast version of Girls.

I started to watch The Goldbergs (5 episodes in) and I actually like the show a lot. I did not expect that at all.
