do u watch the originals too?
Spoiler:
rebecca has Klaus' baby now. so doubt she could be featured back in mystic falls for a while.. although it would be amusing for the baby that is hunted by everyone to just hang out in the vampire diaries storylines

Yes I watch it. Tyler jumped back and forth between shows so no reason Rebecca can't.

Just watched the 1st episode of Turn, pretty cool. I loved watching those redcoats get ambushed toward the last. I'm in.

It's good to be reminded how brave our founding fathers were to stand up to the British back then. USA unironic #1.

If you guys haven't seen it, and given it took ages until I did I assume not, but In The Flesh is really awesome.

It's a British zombie show, set after "the rising" and after a cure was found so the "rotters" can reintegrate back into the society they spent some time eating the brains of. It's nothing like walking dead.

The big themes of the show is the tension between survivors and the "partially dead syndrome" sufferers, the militia forces who hunted them and the zombies who are regaining memories of their time when they were rabid and out of control.

What did people think of the CW mini series Labyrinth? Is it worth watching?

Spoiler:
The whole love story thing was just a bit too PC for me, and kinda took me out of the show.

Didn't know Season 2 was starting, but show is good enough that I'll be catching up.

I have it on the DVR, but its premiere ratings were absolutely atrocious. It won't return after however long they decide to keep it on the air.

I have the pilot of Gang Related ready to watch, not tried it yet though.

Season 2 of In The Flesh is good, I think season 1 was better so far but S2 could easily develop into something really awesome. They are risking a jump the shark moment, but I guess you just gotta have faith they wont fall into a trap they created for themselves as they plotted out this season.

Just finished episode 3 of Turn. I think it's the best one so far. Really liking Abraham Woodhull. I'd heard of John Andre but not Woodhull before this.

I found time and watched Gang Related. Thought it was pretty good. Not the most original, its a mix of The Shield and The Departed but not as good, however its certainly watchable and is potentially going to get very good as it develops.

Today I watched some of a weird History Channel show about American industrial giants like Carnegie, Rockefeller, and Ford. It struck me as pretty half-ass, mostly voice-over narration and terrible piecemeal reenactments with bad actors. Straight narration with real still pictures of the time and people would have been so much better.

edit: The Men Who Built America

Gang Related = The Departed + Graceland (USA Network series) very meh. Probably won't bother with any more episodes.

Halt and Catch Fire OTOH was quite good, but no idea how it can possibly find an audience.

Early release. AMC has it up on its site. It's also available On Demand (on Comcast, at least).

I started a thread for the show:

I'm caught up on the 8 episodes of AMC's Turn now. I don't think it's particularly good or worth watching at this point, sadly. I was rooting for it. It tries to handle too many plotlines at once, and it all seems very clumsy. There's an absurdly evil British officer that's hilarious though.

I'm glad to hear that. I didn't have high hopes for it to begin with, but was willing to give it a shot if enough people said it was awesome. So far, no one has said that.
