Finished the last season of black sails, I feel they could have atleast done a season more, to bad. But it was a very good and satisfying ending. Show really became awesome after season 1.

I'm a little younger than Dominic with better taste in tv, I'll check this show out and report back. It honestly sounds pretty intriguing.

If they're going to do another season it should have the girl only.
But I think it was a very specific Catcher-In-The-Ryesque road trip/romance featuring the two characters on the lam and discovering their feelings for each other. How do you recreate that for season two? Have "the kid" escape from jail with the help of the girl & get tracked by the same two coppers? That's about all I can think of and maybe could work?
girl could be crazy, and boy character could be just a figment of her imagination. or boy could be a ghost.

or a prequel, and some kind of parallel stories. the serial killer older guy could be a good character to explore more.

i agree it's a longshot to be as good as the original story. and i agree it's a complete story in season 1. probably best to leave it alone.

One small point of disagreement. I loved Black Sails and agree it got better every season.

My only minor disappointment was the too feel good ending.

Trying peaky blinders, again, but I cant seem to get into it. No idea why

So I've been watching that Matt Le Blanc show "Episodes" and have really loved the first four seasons. Pretty funny.

But the first episode of season 5 is so bad I don't know what the hell happened.

Blue Planet II premiered tonight on BBC America with "One Ocean", narrated by David Attenborough.
And HOLY **** The footage is incredible!
I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys animals or nature in general.

If this is your first foray into "Planet Earth" territory, you should strongly consider going back and tracking down the many other versions that have aired throughout the years, with nearly all (except, I believe, Wild West and the US version of the original version of Planet Earth) being narrated by Attenborough and just as amazing.

This was good until you realize (during/after the finale) that the entire plot makes no sense. Kinda torn on it cause if you don't think very hard about it, it's actually quite good.

What we do in the shadows has been greenlit on fx for a US adaptation, gemaine clement as a writer and Taika Waititi to direct. I usually hate US remake but those names are comforting.

Had a friend tell me about a show from the UK called “National Treasure” and it’s quite interesting. Only 4 episodes and I have 1 left to go. I think it’s going to end brutally.

Anyway, it about a beloved comedic actor who is accused of sexual assault. It shows a different side of the effects of not so much the crime but the accusations of it. We’ll see in the finale which way they go.

I watched the first ep of Mosaic last night. It's pretty tight stuff. Think its better than the 73 score it currently has on metacritic. I also think many 2p2'ers would like it

Casa de Papel (spanish) on netflix was solid as well as Subura (italian show), all the main 3 characters are great. I recommend them both.
