Definitely possible, since when he 1st showed up I mistook him for the guy who was paid to take the fall as Heisenberg last year.

Was not expecting that reaction from Walt regarding Jessie's meth. But there is the 1st sign he will consider going back to cooking.
04-11-2010 , 10:43 PM
Seems a little heavy on commercials tonight no?

was coming in to post this... the whole last scene with him driving was soo awesome...

also a little subtle thing I picked up on... after Jessie and Walt's discussion in the school parking lot, when Jessie drove off and Walt's belongings fell off, there was a picture of his family front and center of the frame and the glass was all cracked and stuff kind of showing (if its not already apparent) that his family is broken and he is turning to the dark side like everyone has been saying in this thread

So why didn't Pollos know about the twins breaking in - thought he had called them when they were at Walt's.
04-11-2010 , 11:19 PM
The scene with Walt, Skyler, and Walter Jr. at the breakfast table was really important imo. There was a bunch of symbolism there. Most importantly, the newspaper. The fact that Skyler was the one reading the newspaper and going to work while Walt was now staying home and babysitting was telling us that Skyler once again has emasculated him. This is going to almost certainly lead to him getting fed up and manning up again.

He didn't know they were at Walt's the first time either. The bald guy called him and told him. Pollos doesn't control them, he's just doing his best to stop them from killing Walt before he's ready.

Also, Jesse trying to talk the girl into taking the meth was probably the most evil we've seen him in three seasons. He's always had somewhat of a conscience. He's full blown bad now.
04-11-2010 , 11:32 PM
I appreciated the girl actually crying tears instead of just making a crying face.
04-11-2010 , 11:32 PM
Such a good episode, I want moar.
04-12-2010 , 01:25 AM
how was Jesse able to make the blue meth? The meth is blue because of the chemical they used from the huge barrel that they stole in season 1. Before that, the meth was clear. And they used up the entire barrel already.

or am i remembering it wrong?
04-12-2010 , 01:36 AM
they never finished the barrel. they were going to, but then the rv wouldn't start and they got stranded and had to build a battery etc etc, and never got around to finishing the last of the methylamine

i think the twins visited walt again and put the death sign in front of his house.

also, walt needs to work on his PUA skills

solid episode, a lot of things got started, i really wonder where this is going, especially with hank trying to catch walt
04-12-2010 , 08:54 AM
the plant scene was legendary
04-12-2010 , 09:25 AM
I'm going to **** with my friend who watches the show. Go over to his house today and draw that symbol in front of his house in chalk.
04-12-2010 , 09:58 AM
iirc the symbol was a scythe, and i think the PI (wtf is his name anyway) called it such.

Quote:
The scythe also plays an important traditional role, often appearing as weapons in the hands of mythical beings such as Cronus, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, specifically, Grim Reaper (Death). This stems mainly from the Christian Biblical belief of death as a "harvester of souls."
