They showed previously on this episode on it was Hank having a panic attack... maybe its his way of dealing with anxiety?

I think this is interesting and honestly I dont know, knowing you were responsible might make you more sad, it might be easier to let go if its not your fault. Im not totally sure since its never happened to me before ive actually been fortunate enough to not have anyone close to me die.

wow at the move by skylar, pretty much her only move i guess, cant wait to see walters retaliation

hank leaving his gun in the car is weird, obviously hes going through some PTSD but i have no idea what to make of that situation

This was what i thought at first. Not sure if they will repeat the whole El Paso thing again imo

I thought that it was more that his panic attacks and his fear of going back to El Paso make him feel ashamed, and he is trying to prove his manliness.

Why purposefully not follow department procedure and leave gun in the truck?

Because he wanted to brawl and didn't want it to get wrestled away and shot with it.

To show what a tough guy he is, and that he doesn't need a gun to take down a couple of thugs.

Pretty sure Jesse could do a fine job of cooking meth if he is sober, and just because he can do so doesn't make Walt obsolete. We have already seen that the meth world is a dangerous place where suppliers, dealers, runners, cooks and cops alike can disappear or die in an instant.

My take on Hank is that he's obsessed with finding Heisenberg. He dosen't really want to go to El Paso because he feels he has unfinished buisness in his territory. He was in the bar looking for leads and confronted a bald dude who was selling something. He left the gun in the car before the confrontation, because it wasn't an official investigation.

I don't think is the reason he clearly is trying to get the edge back.

not even close imo.

He feels immasculated by his panic attack and is questioning whether he can even really do his job properly anymore. He picks a fight to prove to himself that he can still handle it. Its just a case of his confidence being knocked and him looking for a way to get it back.

i thought it was more along the lines of reason that he didn't want to risk losing it and end up shooting someone for basically a useless reason. he was going into that fight to either beat someone up or get beat up, but he wasn't ready to kill someone.

All,

Cooking meth is, by necessity, a two-man operation. The question of whether or not Jesse can cook the blue meth without Walt is irrelevant, because even if he's mastered the formula, he still needs someone to help him with the process.

Hank had his sights set a shot at the light heavyweight title and thought Keith Jardine was the stepping stone that could get him there. His first round TKO of "The Dean of Mean" showed the MMA world that Hank truly deserves his spot in the long line contenders.

No its not. A ****** could cook meth if someone showed them how.

Qualifications: phd candidate Organic chemistry

The question isn't whether or not it's simple. The question is whether or not you need more than one person. These batches they're making aren't exactly shake-n-bake.

Qualifications: bought, sold, used too many drugs

Happy Breaking Bad Day

i think jesse's acting has been fine, the whole last episode calling her cell to hear her voice was huge for him and his recovery (I assume). The whole episode he is calling and I am saying to myself this is gonna suck when her phone gets cut off and then boom 3/4 of the way through he brings that scene home in a genuine way imo.
