yeah his personality IRL seemed much closer to his malcolm in the middle character. shows what a sick actor he is to completely transform himself into walt, because you're right, cranston vs walt seem like two completely different people.

Yes, any gas station around here would. The only time I have ever run into prepay situations it almost always near big cities. Everywhere else paying after is pretty standard imo.

depends on the region, i guess. in cali, i haven't come across any pump first stations. where I grew (MA suburbs), most were pump first. no idea what it's like in the outskirts of ABQ. not worth nitting about, though.

He had a panic attack in the elevator, which I'm pretty sure was pre-El Paso. He got out of the elevator and met his boss and partner.

Yeah, not thrilled about the outdoor ATM either. Those things bring me out of shows which isn't a good thing. Also, I doubted that had a long-term tape to record. Oh well.
I'm not sure I've seen an ATM outside a gas station, but there are tons of outdoor ATMs in cities.

free standing ones? or the ones built into walls? don't think I've ever seen one like that outside.

its not too hard to add a prop to the scene, especially one that plays a pivotal role in it. look, not sayin they don't exist, i've just never seen one outside like that not structured into something immovable. ca, az, and ga talking here.

actually the guy came running after me as I was driving away - it was just an honest mistake - I thought I had selected the "pay outside" option. If paying inside is an option after you pump, I can see this type of thing happening a lot.

It's really common in Quebec. Not sure why we still haven't adapted to the pay-before-you-pump formula (it's moving that way slowly).

Basically they either check the cameras, like at the place I worked at in high schol, or write it off as a loss. Even with a great camera setup (for a gas station, like 12-13 cameras) we still only got plates for ~1/3 people who ran off w/o paying and then it's off to the police who take their sweet time cause who cares about 60$ worth of gas.

This is correct. This was pre El Paso and as a result of his shooting of Tuco.

Nice Call Sir.

Is it just me or does Skylar look hotter now that she is trying to slut it up?
04-15-2010 , 09:45 PM
i hadn't really seen her as that attractive until the last few episodes. her cleavage in her work outfits is fantastic.
04-15-2010 , 10:27 PM
I have not found her hot at all until this season as well.
04-15-2010 , 11:24 PM
saul is killing me this season

"you just bought yourself a 3 hundred dollar suit"
04-16-2010 , 01:00 AM
I used Netflix to watch the first 2 seasons over the past two weeks and finally caught up with this season so I look forward to keeping up with this thread in real time.

Oh and Saul.

No surprise but AMC is picking up the show for a 4th season.

I am really interested how they can keep up the plot with a fourth season.

I'm not 100% but I think Gilligan said the ideal series length would be 4 seasons.
04-18-2010 , 10:36 AM
I'd be surprised if it didn't go 5.

Yeah, with both Lost and The Sopranos the network had the show go 1 season more than the showrunners wanted. Hopefully whatever happens the quality isn't compromised.
04-18-2010 , 05:20 PM
i'm sure gilligan will write some sweet scene about a methed out astronaut who mistakenly sets a bomb off on the moon causing it to shift too close earth as it slowly spirals towards the earth and the oceans go crazy and weather is nuts and it all ends with a massive collision with all life on earth being decimated with the final scene being walt on his bed hopelessly mouthing the words "what have i done" then blackout
