Because they are badass. Badass people are not harmed by explosions when walking away from them.

Are the brothers angelic or demonic agents?

I guess that would ultimately depend on Walt..it would be quite the loop if the Walt sketch was posted in worship...

Yea, total dick move to people who aren't caught up.

Only thing really interesting about this episode was the twins and the restaurant scene. It was good overall, but mostly just setting up the rest of the season with nothing really eventful going on.

I wonder if Jesse accepting himself means he's ready to get back into dealing. That sort of sounds like the way they're going with it.

Really? I that that was crystal clear. He out and says, "I'm the bad guy" and unless that means going GTA-style in the city I'm pretty sure he's ready to deal again but won't consume. So now we'll have two pro's, Walter-style, going at it. I'm psyched.

awesome episode, nice atmosphere by the techniques in the mexican storyline and awesome dialogs. im really excited to see where this is going. also interesting how walt is getting back to the side of his old life, the family man, but this offer keeps pulling him away

He's going to try to win Sky back, she'll be like HELL NO IDC IF YOU QUIT, then he's going to think to himself "hey I'm dumped and could really use 3 mirrions" and in we are. IMO.

I was thinking he was going to get back into the making drugs in order to secure for protection from the twins.

I dont understand why walt would confess seems really really stupid, now she has so much leverage. If i were him i would have said it was dealing weed and toke that out she gave him and its not nearly as bad, esp because he has cancer so its so easy for him to just say that it was medicinal, really really dumb for him to confess it was meth.

I'm not sure that he "confessed" as much as his reaction made it clear that drug dealing was the correct guess.

Aaron Paul gets so overlooked bc of how good Cranston has been, but he's really great too. I thought he stole this episode.

That was the thing I was most impressed with when I blew through the first 20 episodes last week. I knew coming in that Cranston was gonna be good because he won the 2 Emmys but Paul I only knew from his straight laced character on Big Love. The development of the Walt/Jesse relationship is one of the best things about the show.
03-22-2010 , 03:27 PM
Yeah Paul kills this show. His character S1 is awesome.

Thought this was a great episode to ease back into the swing of things. Talking in the gym was definitely cringe-worthy.

Cousins are pretty badass

I don't think Pollos is gonna kill Walter.

Less Flynn please

Even the people i have known who didn't like their names growing up grew out of the call me a different name stage by the time they hit HS.

It's minor thing but it really stands out in what is an otherwise well-written show.

Thought last night was pretty good but didn't do much to define the path this season will take beyond what we could already assume going into this season.

hank: what ya got in here, cinder blocks?
walt: half a million in cash
hank: lol

re flynn, i'd be a lot more open to screentime for him if they gave him an actual story arc. he's basically an annoying extra with lines.

Who is overlooking him exactly? I can't link where but I'm pretty sure he's gotten praise for BB and is also pretty good in Big Love. Nominated for an Emmy in '09 as well.

Actually yes....I feel better about the ending now. I was thinking the same thing after watching the opener.

I understood the crash in the S2 finale it's just that the metaphor was too on the nose and they foreshadowed it throughout the season to create a cliffhanger and not for any reasons particularly germane to the story.

Thought this was an awesome premiere, some of the stuff that should seem corny doesn't because of really good cinematography that makes me believe that two mexican assassins who never speak could actually exist in this world.

I really hope this happens. It'd be so badass to see a war develop between El Pollos Black Dude and these Mexican cousins.

I gave them a pass on that part of the story line given the rest has been pretty good.
