This vanessa and austin talk is really good for vanessa. Good thing for her he talked to her instead of just nominating her. Where she woulda flipped out and it woulda been all over for her, and maybe even went home this week. I agree, he didn't give her a chance to lie. But he knows deep down even if he didn't trust vanessa, vanessa is 100 percent right that steve can flip the house with jmac where vanessa can't because the other side hate her. And she's also right steve can't afford to not work with austwins if jmac goes home whether he likes going up with jmac or not. Not to mention he wouldn't want to lose their votes in jury if he doesn't have to.

True his social game sucks, but he's smart and tends to argue objectively, whereas Vanessa just spins things to save herself. In the long run he's a more trustworthy ally.

except that doesn't matter because austin wants vanessa out and told steve they would all flip with him...

The idea of Steve being able to flip the house is laughable. Vanessa is good at pulling these arguments out of her ass though.

This is bs. Steve is fighting so hard because john is his closest ally. He is not objective. Neither him nor vanessa are 100 percent objective in this spot but vanessa's argument makes more sense whether you're rooting for her or not. That steve is more likely to vote out vanessa over jmac and if austwins want jmac to go you should listen to vanessa. Where vanessa is more likely to vote out jmac over steve and it's not close. And steve is more likely to flip the house and work with the other side where with vanessa the other side hates her and won't work with her. Steve is much less trustworthy because he has options to betray or not to betray austwins where vanessa does not. She needs austwins to try and get to final 4 as without them she knows she can't get there. Steve can turn on austwins and get to final 4. I root for them both but there is no way steve is being objective in not wanting to be on the block with jmac. And it's more dangerous to keep jmac in game with steve than vanessa.

Steve is incapable of flipping anyone. Vanessa already *has* flipped the house against Austin, over a stupid lie. She's far more dangerous to keep in the game, for everyone.

He can flip it in the sense of being a huge vote for the other side. He can't flip it by force of personality or by persuasion

But if they work with him, he's a number on their side just as much or more than Vanessa, who can go off the deep end very quickly. And he's very capable of winning comps.

that argument does not appeal to austin who wants to send vanessa home

he doesn't give a **** about steve's vote because if vanessa was still on the block thursday, shed be sent home unanimously (at least in austin's current plan)

So if they vote out Vanessa and Becky returns and wins HOH you expect James, Meg, John, Steve to go up? I don't. Same question for Jackie, Shelli? They all are in jury talking and will come in with similar agendas Vanessa option 1 then Austin/Twins.

Vanessa did not flip the house on austin. That is a complete fabrication. The house wanted austin out and she decided to go along because he lied to her. But said she didn't want to be the one to do it so wanted jackie to be hoh. And that was when vanessa had credibility where now nobody trusts her and will work with her. Where steve still has credibility. It's not that hard to work with the other side. All he has to do is tell meg and james and whoever comes back that if we flip on austwins we have the numbers. Or other side could come to Steve where less likely they go to vanessa. To flip all steve has to do is explain austiwns are an unbreakable 3 that would never take any of us over each other. Plus they would have jmac as another number in their alliance against austwins.

I don't get where you think Steve incapable of anything at this point. He's the best player in the game by far.

Also one point out I don't think Vanessa has Austin/Liz/Julia best interest but don't expect her to put them up. Might of been better for James to throw HOH to James. The fear is James not afraid to make big moves.

Stop! Steve is not the best player in the game. LOL. He's horrible

The best player in the game with the total package is Austin.

The best player in the game is Vanessa, at least when she's not emotional. She has orchestrated moves and talked her way out of numerous jams. Furthermore, everyone hates her yet she still always gets her way.

LOL, I told you guys beforehand he was going to put up Steve. Anyone with half a brain who talks to him would've been able to talk him out of it. Steve's pitch was terrible and it wasn't even convincing at all. He had it in his mind to put up Steve and Jmac going in.

That's not correct. He and the twins were resolved to put Vanessa/John up before they brought her into the room.

He'll likely go back and forth on it about a dozen times before deciding not to at the last minute.

His original plan was to put up Steve and Jmac no matter what until Steve came in and started hyperventilating about to pass out. He then promised Steve he'll put up Vanessa, but that's not what he wanted to do. He wanted to talk to Vanessa to see if she would be ok with it. Obviously she wouldn't be and it wouldn't have taken much convincing anyways. Steve was always going to go up eventually.

This is turning to an unreal disaster. Austin/Julia/Liz probably gonna waltz to F3 at this rate. Need the returning player to win HOH and flip this **** around.
