Betsy Kettleman doesn't strike me as the kinda wife who puts out.

I know, but it would be a fun contest in general.

Rhea Seehorn might actually be my first over 40 crush. I didn't think she was super hot right away, but from watching her in BCS and some interviews she just seems super charming and funny.

.
fwiw i didn't watch BB at the time, so was unaware of the state of contracts during the show's run.

however i am surprised you 'strongly disagree', as it doesn't really seem that debatable. we know the two main (as of now) characters of BCS will never die, even as the show draws to a close. you could not have said that about breaking bad at any point. that's a difference - whether it ultimately will make much of a difference to our enjoyment of the show remains to be seen.

anyhow, another great ep. cute nod to BB with the money under the sink.

The main character dying is something that only might ever happen in the final episode of any series, so we're really talking about the suspense being taken out of one episode. AFAIK, everyone knew that every season finale of BB seasons 1-4 wasn't going to end the show, so there was pretty much zero chance of Walt dying in any of them.

There is more than enough room for the creators of BCS to introduce new characters that we'll develop an emotional attachment to that matches what we feel for Saul, Mike, Walt, etc. These can then be put in suspenseful situations of which we don't know the outcome, Kim being one example. In fact I think it's often more suspenseful to play with the risk of having something happen to someone our hero cares about rather than the hero himself.

With Mike there's less room for that though, since we know his daughter-in-law and granddaughter survive.

yes. i'm not saying none of your middle paragraph can't happen, i'm sure it will. i'm simply saying that we know pieces of information about characters that we didn't know about characters in BB.

I thought there was a possibility of this show ending after BB, which means there is no guarantee Saul survives the show.

I'm with you. I was surprised to see she's 42/43. I have a huge crush on her, and I've strangely never seen her in anything before.

I doubt it. Jonathan Banks is pretty old, and they've easily got 3-4 seasons of stuff they can do pre-BB. Don't see it playing out that way and them using a 77 year old Banks at some point.

Hollywood make-up does a hell of a job, and Banks is at that age where he can basically look the same right up until he croaks. It's like Clint Eastwood. That guy's been 60 for the last 30 years.

A very good show thus far, although having little idea where it's heading kinda hinders the experience.

I have watched all of BB but have no recollection as to what happens to Saul. Well, plenty of time regardless...

Didn't know Rhea Seehorn is over 40. She's alright but Betsy is waaaayy hotter and a true milf, although a little scary.

I really don't get the Betsy being sexy thing. Is that something I'll suddenly understand when I'm in my forties?

Will we see more of Tuco and his crew? Will the show delve into darker themes or stay where it presently is? Is there an endgame of some sort?

Note that I just arrived at this topic and haven't read any of the speculation or revelations if there was any; just the talk about Kim and Betsy.

Her character was too crazy to even thinking about whether or not she was hot.

Sorta MILFy, but I don't think she's particularly incredible.

Bigger fan of Rhea.
