I strongly disagree with this. I mean, Walter obviously wasn't going to die when you knew they had signed up for more seasons early on in BB. Did that ruin any of the suspense involving his scenes?

There's also plenty of new characters that we can get attached to. The fact that Kim, who is a very likeable character, isn't in BB actually already has me kind of worried about how she's going to end up, for example.

I think that's a stretch. You don't see much of Saul in BrBa outside of his relationship to the main characters. Nothing at all of his social life. Kim could still have been around, gotten married and/or moved away from NM, or whatever. I don't think we can judge anything by the fact that we didn't meet her there.

Yeah absolutely. My point was, since this is a new character the audience cares about, there is still a lot of room to create suspense. Just because we know Saul and Mike will always make it through doesn't mean that the show will inherently be less suspenseful than BB, which is what the poster I replied to seemed to be suggesting.

I loved this episode. Betsy Kettleman is amazingly hot.
