I checked it now, it works. If you want to change username it will ask your password as well and that is done. Playon allow change of username too. Some others do not.

Good questions you raising. I am just learning from scratch on this. Not everything is covered in the FAQ. They seem to be helpful with queries on Twitter or you can contact them directly.

Will need to read their term and conditions in detail too. Hope it helps in clarifying matters for you too.

Easy for someone to pretend to be a novice on head to head games.

One thing it does not change though is the overall amount of unique players which is between 200-220.
Interesting. There is no limit (in terms of how often you can do it for example)? It seems to me that the big regs name (some posting here) are constant, so they do not play this game? Or maybe there are a few big regs floating around constantly operating under different nicknames?

I know a few of the big regs and can confirm none of them has any intention of using this option. Even so, the H2H lobby is way too thin to play that game.
But I agree, I am not too sure what is the purpose of this option. Would be much better to remove, and allow a change in username on ad hoc basis

Weird, name change isn't available for me. When I hover over the name, a stop/no entry symbol appears.

Jean, I just merked myself by not entering the £2 championship thing today. Totally slipped my mind. Assume you got the ticket.

Head to head lobby has way too high mark up. Also one player seems to dominate it all for the Premier League, where is the attraction ? I can not see none.

In European leagues head to head can be fun as the long as the fixtures do not have the staggered kick off time. I can not see no reason why head to head can not be offered on regular basis with just fixtures that have similar kick-off time.

For players changing usernames noticed during the summer competitions, it is fine as long as people are transparent with it. Kimjongill is one creative username change I noticed, did not realise Mondo was popular in DPRK.

Oh, are you ToonSquad? Yeah, pretty lucky you did not enter the qualifier, finishing 2nd in a WTA sucks

Ok Bigo, good to know.

All right people. Who has guessed correct the Chelsea line-up ? I am missing Willian and Begovic. Money down the drain, hard to justify anymore any matches that have staggered kick off.

Missing a defender in a Serie A game from today, missing a midfielder from La Liga yesterday. It goes on and on. Non-starting players is beyond a joke now. Pathetic!

Come on Garrincha. I think you've expressed your displeasure on that matter often enough on enough forums :-) There's no fundamental difference between a guy not starting in DFS and a big draw missing in poker. It's just part of the game.

Did two line ups. I thought Haz would replace Oscar so faded Oscar and got Willian/Haz/Costa in both LUs. Got killed. A late swap option would have changed my fortunes indeed

Problem with h2h on mondogoal is it is such a pain in the ****ing ass to create or join a bunch of games. DK's head to head setup is infinitely way better and easier to manage. Fish don't want to waste time going through a lot of effort to join games.

Where's the best place to download player stats so you can do Excel analysis / forecasting etc? Want as detailed stats as possible and want to update data set after each GW

On my part I spend hours checking multiple sources to guess who will be in the starting eleven. If it was based on hunches with no effort it will not bother me at all.

For the so many variables at play makes guessing line up's a lottery. Till these sites remedy this deficiency. It is just common sense to play lowest stakes or if any at all in this staggered kick off's.

This aspect gets my goat with the regularity it happens. Feels like eating in a place where a three course meal is advertised only to get a one or two course meal. One feels short changed.

If these sites say it is part of the game and shrug. Can not see many staying around to spend hours guessing line-up's. Back to the seasonal and monthly games for February. Will share during the week more sites I am coming across. Quantity over quality for sure.

For which game you looking for ? FPL, other seasonal's, draft games or daily fantasy sites ?

There is a lot of player stats around. FPL statistics is one of the best. Fantrax and Eurofantasy league have very detailed stats and you do not to play the games to access it.

I have contacted Stratabet and very interesting new company for forecasts & models. They say they looking at Daily Fantasy games to assess if it is worthwhile to offer service for player projections.

There is fantasy football fix and Asliga. Also another person who was doing projections for Fan Team and Mondo, might have stopped updating it.

You fail to see that if it is this hard for you then it is also that hard for the people you are playing. By looking into likely lineups in such detail you are actually giving yourself and even bigger edge longterm.

Indeed Ronaldo, that is the whole aim to have a bigger and significant edge in the long term. Information is king and those who do the hours & homework will benefit from it.

I am always willing to share good information as there can never be enough of that and being diligent in sourcing it.

The company is called Stratagem technologies. They give one month free access and it is very impressive.

The subscription is quiet pricey but for anyone that has cashed in well in DFS, well worth the investment.

This is the response from Stratabet to me.

"We do want to venture into Fantasy League (player models) but at the moment we have in the pipeline more sports betting markets (tennis for starters)."

Thanks, I would prefer to have the raw data so that i can use it for different scoring systems, as each site tends to vary scoring system.

The only truly important statistics as far as I know are only available for epl in a way that you can manipulate them without coding knowledge. They are avail elsewhere for other leagues but not in a friendly format for manipulation.

Otherwise need to learn to program so you can scrape and manipulate data from box scores of other leagues. (If not scraping can pay opta a massive fee for the feed of said stats 4k per year per league)

You can get a half season membership with Fantasy Football Scout for £10 and they have large amount of data and the ability to create your own custom tables. This link gives more info and some videos showing what they have on offer

Wow 4k per year is big. When FFS take £10 for a half season saying they give OPTA-powered stats, I assume they dont' give the whole array of stats OPTA would provide you for 400 times more?

Way less stats actually. If I had to guess ffscout probably pays a good 5 figures for their feed.
