First Slovenian to ever do anything meaningful in the hockey world. When he was picked to go to the all star game it was big news back there.
kopitar is running hot, i dont think his shooting % (above 20%) is going to be sustainable. still tho hes def a sicko.

Three cheers if you have Kevin Bieksa and his 22 PIM last night on your teams!

FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Left Kovalchuk on IR because I thought he was coming back next game. Goal, assist, PPP and games halfway thru.

So my league waiver wire is full of gems, including Danny Briere. I'm trying to package some players and pick up Iggy to free up space, but if that doesn't pan out who, if anyone, should I drop for Briere?

C: Thornton, Roy, Spezza, Staal
LW: Heatly, Parise, Vanek, Malone
RW: Ryan, Doan, Boyes,
D: Campbell, Weber, T. Kaberle
G: Luongo, S. Mason, Emery
IR: Gonchar

Also, if my current offer for Iggy doesn't go through, is Vanek+Doan for Iggy too much to offer?

If your playing in a Yahoo league... they suck with hockey and take about a week to figure out players should be listed as IR, so that may be the case with him. I have him in my lineup tonight, but just because I have space for him.

No, it's not too much. In fact, it's not enough. Iginla is a 1st round stud, Vanek + Doan are both 5th/6th round roster fillers. They won't be enough for Iginla. If you get Iginla for those two, be very happy. He's the best fantasy RW, hands-down.

It appears, but the depth of your roster, as though your league is an 8-team league or perhaps a 10-team league? Hang onto your stud players for dear life. The waiver wire is always chock-a-block full with decent substitute players like Briere.

He's hurt and not playing. Day-to-day type thing, although I think he hasn't played since November 1st. Maybe it's more of a week-to-week type thing now.

Agreed, they are often quite tardy on updating injury statuses on Yahoo Hockey.

Blah! What? Complaining about a good night? Yeah, I hate it when I have a huge night despite the fact I am leading every single category by a wide margin. Really hope my team takes a break and heats up for next week instead of overkilling this one.

Score on Varlamov please.

Ridiculous. Staal had a slow start last year and still produced to some extent. At the very least look to trade him, he does have some value in his name...

Am I missing something? I thought you could only have one IR spot? Why doesn't yahoo let me put two in?

Thanks.

Fantasy question: I have 5 D, and am looking at dropping one for a LW. My two choices to drop are Jason Demers and Kyle Quincy. I'm near the top of my league in both +/- and PIM. Who do you drop?
