Got an email from Wynn today about the fight. They're showing it at Encore for $70 or Wynn for $50. Ouch.

Any general thoughts on the Sports Book at the Wynn? Size, seating area, lots of TV's?

Starting to plan a trip for opening weekend of March Madness with a group of 8-12 guys. One of the group can get us a great room rate, so we are looking here. I've never been to the sports book, so any feedback would be helpful.

Hop in a cab and head to m resort sports book. You won't be disappointed.

Check out the Palms sports book, it's well worth the short trip off strip and if you don't want to pay for a cab you can use the free Rio shuttles from Harrahs or Ballys and walk a couple blocks. They recently renovated it and the screens are amazing, google a few pictures of it to get an idea.

Edit: If you're locked in the Wynn's though, it's perfectly fine (much better than average) but I haven't spent too much time there.

He'll be disappointed with the $30-40 each way the cab will cost.

Seriously, you give the worst advice.

Perfectly nice room, a bit on the smaller side and accomodating 8-12 people will require advance planning (about anywhere). If you want to splurge you can go across the street to Lagasse's Stadium.

Pretty standard mega resort sports book. It can get absurdly crowded since Encore doesn't have a TV area (they take sports bets at the red card desk). The deli next store ZooZoo crackers is awesome so that is a nice bonus.

Don't know your style but new sports bar just opened at Hard Rock called Ainsworth which is very cool. They have a DJ and tons of hot girls working there. The HR book is across the hall so easy to get bets in. They have a ton of TVs as well.

Someone else mentioned KingBB was banned as well.

Both individuals offered advice and services beneficial to the 2+2 community.

Mods, any info on this will be appreciated.

they were banned by the higher ups, i didn't do it.

they were using the site to conduct business. it's unfair to the people who pay for the privilege to advertise.

I dealt with JayLV when I went to Vegas, and he was a free service. He never asked for money nor was it discussed, he set me up with a few tables etc. Whether I chose to tip him or not is irrelevent isnt it?

Anyway not the debate to have here I guess, but seems like a pretty poor decision by the higher ups.

Pretty sure they arent competing against anyone either?

Getting a nice tip isn't doing it for free is it ? And what kind of kick back did he get 4 sitting you at that table ? People don't spend the time doing that kind of **** out of the goodness of their heart - maybe he was but I somehow doubt it
