54 over 9-holes on Thursday after work, pretty casual round with coworkers but my second 9 holes of the season.

88 (46-42) today at a first-time course for me -- strung together 5 straight pars on the back which I think is easily a record for me. Ties my personal best of 88 that I have shot twice before! Drove the ball really well, irons were decent, putting was solid and chipping was really really bad. But man it felt great to shoot that on only my second eighteen of the season, since last season I've been back to lifting and a lot of athletics (basketball) and I think with the same amount of effort I'll be way ahead of where I have been the last two seasons. Really excited for this year of golf.

CR, nice 2 putt birdie on a nearly 500 yard hole. What club did you hit into the green?

Played twice this weekend at my club.

Kinda funny how different rounds can be.

I hit the ball much better in Rd 2 than Rd 1 but scored 6 shots worse.

Missed 5 birdies inside 15 ft yesterday so going to work on that.

Headed to my bachelor party and a golf-ful trip later this week. Hoping to put up some respectable numbers.

yeah played Sunday. I went off as a single around 8:30 with those two guys who had Lehigh bags.

5 iron, left the eagle putt 5 feet short lol...five 3 putts in that round, think that might be a personal record

Won 15 of 18 skins today for 200$ and two under for the round. Two man scramble though.

44 (par 37). No birdies, 2 doubles. Played poorly.

Had my best round ever with a 69 (par 73) on my 6750 course. I usually shoot between 74-80. I was -3 after 4...all 10 footers so I was pretty excited!

I then made a bogey at 10, a double at 11 and another bogey at 13 which is a super easy 300 yards par 4 to fall to +1. I was a bit upset to have butchered what could've been a great round.

Buttttt then I went on the biggest heater of my life by finishing birdie-birdie-eagle-birdie. Best shot of the day came at 16 which is a 190 yards par 3 with a lake in front. The tee is elevated and we had a strong 20mph wind blowing right in our face...I hit a PURE 4 iron stinger that landed 6 feet behind the pin. Boy that felt great.

On 18 I had a downhill 20 foot putt with a pretty big break for 69 that magically fell right in the heart. It's the first/last time I'm going to be -5 in 4 holes.

Was able to squeeze out a couple more hundo, I think I wore out my welcome today.

4th time I've been out, 3rd time on this course. I've probably been golfing less than 10 times in the past 5 years, but I've been picking it up again with a buddy. Imploded on 18, drove the ball 80 yards from the green and somehow managed a 9. I'm definitely one of those people that if I hit one bad shot and I don't regain my focus, I'm done.

I'm going to try and get out at least 1-2 times a month this year, and hopefully will get it under 90 a couple times

Playing both tracks at Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham in a few days. Pretty excited.

43-41=84 for my best round of the year (I haven't gotten out as much as I'd like).

The nines were reversed today for some league event, which actually matters to me a bit (normal holes 1-3 are the #3/5/1 handicap holes on the course and it's not a pleasant start). Playing those in +4 or so (and I did that again today) doesn't feel so bad when you have a nine under your belt.

The 43 included three 3-putt bogeys (I have got to get time to work on my putting), had my first birdie of the year on the back nine when I very nearly holed a lob wedge on a par 5.

T'was a good day.

Shot 84 on the toughest course I ever played, Old Corkscrew. Played just short of 7400 yards with a steady breeze. Rated at 77.6/153 Nickalaus Course. Greens were unbelievably undulated, meaning tucked pins due to having no where to put pins and huge crowns. Birdied the 244 yard par 3 into the wind. Hit the 495 yard par 4 in regulation, pin in front but had to carry green due to water short. Left a 90 foot putt severely downhill putt that broke 4 times before getting to the hole going from mound to mound as it went to the hole and I knocked it off the green and making 5 with two putts.

They consider Concessions the harder/hardest of the Jack courses he built, I can not fathom one being harder than the one today.

Brag- chipped in on the hardest hole on the course for a birdie won mega skins.
Beat- finished triple,bogey, double last three carding a 43
Variance. removed 4-hybrid at the car for 4-iron, shut it down and escaped from the trees on the second hole to set up the birdie and massive win. ( gross and net skin worth estimated 110 bucks. )

Oh yeah, continuing my pointless log that nobody cares about but hit the range today after 6 days of not touching a club, lifting, drinking, and traveling. Did not go well at all. Struggled to make consistent contact and when contact was good, most shots were pulled about 10 degrees left. Aewr;alsdglarg;alkjdf this ****ing game

Had a dream this morning that I was playing golf. Got a few holes in. But it was a course intertwined with an apartment complex. One hole's tee box was in the breezeway on the 2nd level between all the apartment entrances. So it was a nice elevated box. A car rolled up behind me driving in this 2nd level apartment breezeway and it slowed to a stop with lights on. I was ready to tee off then backed off for some reason and some guy gets out of the passenger seat and yells "Hey buddy you gonna let us play through or what!?" I was like "Ahhh, yeah. I didn't know y'all were golfing." It was some old lady driving.

I woke up shortly after that. I think I need to get out and play. Meant to this week but got sick again. I have the WOAT throat/lungs. Will try to get out this weekend.

Mehhhhhhhhh another 44, although I opened double-double with 3 shanks in those 2 holes. Really suspect ballstriking all the way from driver to sand wedge. If I made solid contact, the shot was never off-line (improvement from yesterday!), but I couldn't seem to hit the ball solidly, which is basically the story of my golfing life. Just gotta find some way to keep get some consistency which isn't easy with my tall skinny frame. Didn't make any putt to speak of, but didn't 3-putt either, so that was solid I guess.

45-41-86. On the road today. Horrible, horrible golf. Very few quality shots and horrendous putting.

I have perfected a fascinating new shot - I hit a driver, the ball goes nearly straight up in the air and comes down ~ 100 yards from the tee (or less). I can do this with the ball teed down (and I have no idiot marks on the crown of my driver), so it's not like I'm going under the ball.
