Play well or die? Oh wait, that's the North team.

Hell yeah. I watch their matches every week on the East Asian Archery and Darts Network.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I was at the lake all weekend, thanks for the advice. I was going to wait until the end of the season to buy the irons anyways. I did hear about the new Ping's coming out and that they're supposed to be awesome. They're gonna have to look really clean to change my mind from the Mizuno's. Basically whats keeping me from getting the Mizuno's is what people keep saying about forged irons and that there is really no reason to play them (for me personally).

I'm left handed so my options are pretty limited when it comes to Mizuno's so the ones I listed are the only ones i have tried.

Dustin Johnson averaging 307.5 driving avg this year. Seems about 90% of this forum bombs it past him.

It's the only venue that makes sense.

So after a laughably bad fitting at a Golf Galaxy (15 minutes of tests apparently revealed I fit perfectly with off the rack clubs) I've been taking lessons with a guy at the Callaway Golf Center in Vegas (named Bob--I'd recommend him) and he's saying that they can change the lie 1 degree upwards or something and add a little shaft length for $20 total. Isn't that supposed to cost way more?

Also, quite gay issue I've been struggling with: do golfers just have to live with the fact that we're going to have ****ty farmer's tans?

What's a good brand and model of wedges these day? I've been using a set of vokeys (52,56 and 60) with standard bounce for about 5 years now so it's time for a new set.

Don't think you can go wrong with Vokeys or Clevelands

Most important thing about wedges are having the right bounce, loft, and weight. Most the faces are pretty much the same (although be wary of the new rules change in grooves)

I'd be interested in hearing any opinions on Callaway wedges - I have some cally credit to burn and wedges are about all I can think of to get.

The first tee shot. 5 is a great score on that hole.
