Did you eat at the restaurant there? There was a restaurant on Rt.40 called Library III and they moved locations to McCullough's. They have some of the best burgers I've ever eaten (they grind them from the filet they don't sell the day before or something). It's a very reasonably priced steakhouse and they also have the most amazing scallops wrapped in bacon as an app. I used to spend a LOT of time there

Since I've broken two irons hitting off of mats at the range recently, I'm wondering if that is possible to do merely from swings that would have been ideal on actual grass where you would take a divot. Or is it just bad fat shots that likely would have caused it? If it is the former case, does anyone adjust their swing from the mat such that they barely touch the mat? It seems like that might not be good practice. I should add that the mats I hit off of were actually softer than average and weren't the type that were old, hard, and worn down, but I still managed to break the heads off a couple of irons.

yep me too. I was considering going to Hidden Lake tomorrow, but decided to go to the driving range instead. I've played a few times this early in the season and the conditions are never as miserable as people make them out to be.

Not that familiar with actual Dallas courses.

Pecan hollow is great for a cheap muni.

Was actually a decent day for golf in Cleveland. Was able to play first 13 holes is short sleeves. Got a bit cold but rain held off for the entire round. Golf season officially back on.
