Is it a good idea to have a thread where people can post reviews about courses they've played, and where people can inquire about specific courses? I'm kind of surprised such a thread doesn't exist yet...

Most certainly. We are just putting the group that is going as of now and will be looking into houses to rent. Haven't even looked at the schedule to see how the week stacks up yet, but I just got all fired up during the Prez's Cup and sent a few buddies a probing email to spark interest.

Pretty fired up to go see the atmosphere....good chance it rally's me right on through 2012 Q School and straight on Tour.

Gotta dream delusional dreams ya know.

Yes, but we are talking about the Ryder Cup. Clearly I will be exempt for 5 years on Tour once I win the Open next year

Gonna be hard to make next year's Cup team, but I am still in preparations for the 2014 Ryder Cup as we speak. Working on mental game for starters.

I don't know what happened but sometime over the last round and this one I have completely lost my swing. Particularly with my woods. My drives are either duffs/75 yard worm burners or duck hooks of around 175 in length. Rest of my clubs are inconsistent as my head game is gone and I can't figure out what is wrong. Im hitting a lot off the toe but standing closer only makes it worse. Any help? I am actually playing right now.

I'm retiring the driver for the day as I am hitting the 3w well.

I'll have to get on the range tonight or tomorrow and try to make a video or something as I have no clue what is going in with the driver. The sound is even clunky.

Father is asking for a 7W for Xmas... but when looking around TGW, not really seeing any 7W's.. I'm thinking he's looking for more of a rescue wood than anything else... should i be looking for a 5W /w 20+ degrees of loft, or am I not even starting in the right place?

Tot Hill is ****ing insane and Tobacco Road isn't far behind. Anderson Creek is a fine course.

Fair amount of driving between those courses too.

Tobacco Road is a gimmick. If I was in the Pinehurst area I would definitely play it (once), but it's not an everyday kinda place.

What do you guys think about my new driver?

Ya, I never thought this would happen in my lifetime, but I ran the bag over tonight with the ****ing car

Luckily everything else seem intact and the bag escaped with only minor scuffs. The cheaply made nike driver snapped like a twig though. Probably gonna get a hold of them for a refund

doubt it will fly but worth a try I guess
