I'm watching it. I don't believe their handicaps at all. If they have official USGA handicaps then why are they all round numbers?

I enjoy watching big break but the talent level on this one is a farce.

these were my thoughts exactly. Tim Brown being a 4? handicap is not believable.

I'd love to tee off on a crocodile with a high iron. Really feel like I could make him let go.

I thoroughly enjoy watching the cross-handed guy fail at every aspect of the game, his swing is so ugly

This is one of the many reasons why I carry a 2 iron

Just saw this particular episode. The worst player from the hardest spot: let's double it!

Then he puts up a pitiful 4 points, less than half of what ANY of the women put up from 125, not to mention 10 points less than his teammate Shannon would have put up were he not mentally handicapped and had her playing for double, and he says he's happy with his decision and would do it again.

If he had let either of his teammates play for double, both of whom are hitting easier shots and actually play golf for a living, his team wins outright. He truly is a stupid man.

I would also like to motorboat Meghan.

Was throwing nerf balls around the office, woke up and my elbow and shoulder feel like a giant toothache. Went to the range because I'm going out Sunday am for a round I already paid for, and couldn't even swing the club. Uh-oh. Advil and ben gay, and my last round of the year. Gonna have to get this looked at now.

Yeah, his whole "it's team Doleman!" schtick is the ****ing best. That's great Mr. Vanity Handicap, but the guy you keep ****ting on is several orders of magnitude better at this game. But keep on being in charge, because being in charge is more important than winning.

I have a thing for Mallory, personally.

A friend of mine got to meet the Dalai Lama. I asked my friend if he asked the Dalai how his golf game was these days. He said the Dalai's people told him that up until a few years ago he would actually autograph Caddyshack videos and DVD's. So if you run into a Caddyshack DVD signed by the Dalai Lama there is some chance it is real.

Played 2 holes yesterday before walking off the course in the worst pain I have ever felt in my right shoulder and elbow. Really hoping it is not anything serious, just as I am finally starting to grasp the golf swing, this **** has to happen.

So..

Need to help my mom buy my pops a new driver for Xmas. Price isn't a huge concern, but caveats are there.

He won't get fitted .. I think. He golfs maybe 10 times a year and doesn't see the need to spend the extra 100$ or so for the fitting so we are going off of my observations on what to get him.

He's a high handicapper (20+). Wicked slice, but controllable at times when he controls his swing. I'm thinking more along the lines of a covert or dslr that has adjustable face and lie to basically bring him to the range before the season and adjust as needed to straighten him out as much as possible.

Thoughts / Recommendations ?

How about a driver and a lesson? 1 or 2 lessons at the beginning of the season will make his rounds more enjoyable IMO.

Well, we know nothing about his swing other than he slices. No video, no swing speed, no launch angle, etc. Nothing. So we have no way of giving any sort of knowledgeable opinion.

So if he won't get fitted might as well walk into a golf store and play pin the tail on the driver!

Haha Bo.. Welcome to my world. And i think that's literally where this will end up, so I'm hoping that y'all might have some at least knowledge of the club overall and I'll do my best to pick the one with the least bad reviews. Haha

The following was written by someone who apparently hacked into nitBO's account.

The good news is that if he only plays 10 times a year and has zero interest in getting fitted that he's going to love any new golf toy you buy for him. So just buy the newest and greatest thing he's seen advertised with a regular shaft and a lot of loft. You can't go wrong that way and he'll feel extremely lucky to have such a great son.

A lot of people seem to have good results with shafts that are shorter than the current standard lenght, it usually reduces dispersion quite a bit.

Also the idea of bundling in a lesson or two is great unless he is deadset against it.

LOL Doleman indeed. If you still have the show on DVR check out the look that Fish and Coop exchange after Doleman says his previous shot was the worst one he's hit all show.

Coop did sack up at the end, but the fact that they are somehow spotless thus far is going to make their inevitable implosion all the more satisfying to behold.

So Sweden just awarded their 'Bragdguldet' which is the award for the biggest sport achievement of the year for a Swedish competitor.

The winner was Johan Olsson. And for those wondering who that is, he got the price for winning a 50 km ski race during this years World Ski Championship...

Perhaps if Stenson can repeat what he did this year and add a couple of majors as well next year, Sweden might rank him up there among the true greats like some guy who moved rather quickly while skiing for two hours one winter day. Perhaps.
