Yes it's very similar to WoW. A WoW player will feel right at home in this game. I don't mind similarities in basic gameplay elements, though. I hope endgame will have some unique touches.

Just curious if anyone is looking forward to the Sims Medieval. I'm debating pre-ordering it, though the add-ons look less then spectacular. I like the concept of going back in time. I like the addition of quests with multiple characters leading to different actions. I don't know how I feel about the heroes not being generated from a job path (seems a little shallow)

Curious if anyone here (or on 2+2 in general) has ever raced virtual sailboats on sailX.com? I'd recommend it if you have a top small boat sailing racing background (intercollegiate, frostbite, Lasers, 420's, FJ's etc.). Goofy graphics but they have the feel of the boats about right. Competition is first rate.

meh, that zombie trailer aint ship compared to the Gears one. (in my fanboi opinion) Doubt it generates near the hype the Mad World one did.

A decent, prob underrated SNES game I had fun with was goof troop? (Something to do with goofy the disney character) iirc the gameplay was similar to a co-op zelda. Also some other big ones NBA Jam, street fighter (2 turbo), The donkey kong country series co-op (don't know if this should count 1 player plays at a time). There were tons of fighting games, all were decent. killer instinct, and there was one where you were dinosaurs or something which was kinda neat can't recall the name though.

There was another game like that which had Mickey. I think it was "Mickey in Time" or something like that. It was a 2d game on Genesis and was def pretty dope.

So true and funny that your pizza parlor had one too lol. I remember fighting people and just doing the teleport back and forth move. After you did it a few times a piece of cheese would come on the screen lmao.

I can't really find enough info yet worthy of starting a thread, but apparently Might & Magic Heroes VI is under development and, despite the confusing name, is a sequel to Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Hopefully, it doesn't suck. It's being developed by Black Hole Entertainment, a Hungarian company whose previous titles are mostly Warhammer games. HOMM V was the first game in the series not developed by New World Computing and it also kinda blew (as did Disciples III, from what I've read, which was also coincidentally the first game in the Disciples series not made by Strategy First), so hopefully this game can break the cycle of franchises sucking when they're taken away from their original developers. I'm not insanely optimistic though.

I love the series, what was completely underwhelmed by 5.

I don't see how this game could be much worse. I've been looking for a game like this to fill my time though, hopefully this will be able to do it.

Even if the game is awful I'll still probably play it through once.
