Dabs is the best imo (dabs.com), prices seem fairly good because its an online retailer and their customer service know what they're talking about.

Unlike PC World, which you should avoid until the day it holds a monopoly on global technology, because it is overpriced, limited in stock and I'd be shocked if their staff even knew how to work a television.

trying to remember a random computer game that is 15+ years old. basically you play as some guy making his way through different rooms of a big building, maybe with an elevator in it. I think each room was kind of like a puzzle. I can't remember if there are bad guys, but there are definitely traps you have to avoid and I think a lot of them involved lasers. for example, you walk into a room and there would be a laser bouncing all around, but you can trap it in a certain section by closing a door at the right time and then it will just bounce around in that little area.

That seems like it would be an awesome game never mind a movie.

I live in the UK but I'm not a registered investor, nor do I have a significant amount of cash to invest. Otherwise I would almost certainly do it, especially considering the success of films such as District 9 who became very successful despite unconventional advertising campaigns.

I'm currently giving Killzone 2 a second try and I really just can't get into it. I'm not sure if it's the PS3 controller or just the way the game is coded but aiming with the right analog stick is annoying (it's not quick enough when you want to turn around, and yet too jumpy to make fine adjustments to your aim, all at the same time!) and it's not all that fun to take cover somewhere and wait (sometimes forever) for enemies to pop out of their cover before shooting them, usually from far enough away that your short-range guns take forever to actually take them out.

That this game got 9.4 on IGN (with the review glowing about graphics, realism, motion sensitivity, stuff that all matters a lot less than the core shooting gameplay) just makes me further disillusioned with review sites in general. Or maybe I'm just incapable of enjoying modern shooters and I need to go yell at some kids to get off my lawn, I'm not sure (I did play through Doom 2 again over the last couple weeks, it holds up well if you run a high-res OpenGL version!).

i have a 3DS and honestly ive experienced no headaches and no black screens and ive been playing it quite a lot. The only thing that genuinely sucks is the battery life. Im loving playing Pro Evo Soccer but i guess if you dont like that the launch line up sucks monkey balls. I havent even got round to playing Street Fighter yet though. The technology really is awesome mind you. Everyone who plays it genuinely is impressed.

im considering buying a 3ds w/ 0 games, haha, none of them interest me atm. i know im gonna buy one when zelda/mario comes and I have $, so why wait? i dunno, they might make a special zelda limited edition 3ds, so i might just practice patience. i have an XL so i won't use it for regular DS Games.

Just found this story of a 3DS recall:

The Nintendo 3DS has been available for retail in the west for only a week, and already Nintendo is issuing a recall of the handheld. Nintendo has apparently received hundreds of thousands of complaints ranging from nausea and dizziness, to seizures and in some cases, sudden onset death.

The reported maladies are a result, according to one source, of too much awesomeness being beamed directly in to the brain. The Nintendo 3DS has been available in Japan for over a month without the same reported issues, but researchers now believe the Asians’ somewhat slanted eyes aid in blocking out a great deal of the expelled multi-dimensioned awesome. When asked for comment, Nintendo representative Shigatsu Baka said “We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate recall, but equally lament the fact that our physical characteristics deny us a measure of the brain-melting magnificence of the 3DS."

Maybe Impossible Mission?

Have a 3ds and no headaches so far. Some thoughts on the system:

Taking pictures are is cool except for the crappy resolution on the cameras. You can download 3D pics off the internet to an SD card and put it onto your 3ds. Eagerly awaiting the inevitable 3d porn.

First system update comes with a 3D music video. Hope they find a way to stream 3D videos from youtube or something.

No good game so far except SF4. Not buying ti though because I already own it for xbox, ps3, and itouch lol.

SOCOM 4 Beta is open to all PSN users.

Has anyone watched the webseries "The Guild". It's a comedy series about a WoW guild, but everything is out of game. I just started watching it last night and was actually laughing out loud during a few episodes. I don't actually play WoW, but you need to know some common gamer terms like loot, DPS, etc at least. www.watchtheguild.com. I think they also have a youtube channel as well.
