FIFA 15 - Page 7 - Video Games - Video Game Systems Forum

So I'm mostly a PC gamer in general. People at my work are trying to get me to buy a console to play Destiny with them, but I've told them I wont buy a system for 1 game. I've been watching some FIFA 15 footage recently and am really considering diving in now. Do you guys suggest this even though I've never played a FIFA game in my life? If so, is there a consensus on which system to get it for, xbox1 or ps4?

Fifa 14 was the first time I bought a fifa game played the crap load out of the past demos. It's a blast really like the FUT mode. Also, xbox1 or ps4 is kinda obvious get the one your friends have. My friends kept with xbox and I switched to ps4 this time. I miss the chatter

definitely starting with a false 9. better passing + better dribbling + harder defending is going to = a few wins with 70% possession and 1 broken controller.

The replay factor is so high in this game it really keeps your attention. Between UT, manager seasons, player seasons and online play, you never really get bored.

I really don't understand how people make profit trading with seemingly little effort. I have spent 5 hours trying to grind web app trading and have made next to nothing.

extremely few "fish" in the market right now so trading profitably is a lot harder than usual, things will change once the game is out

the difference between ppl mashing ego war bids are often 200+ coins more than the lowest price even at a 500BIN price player. regularly turning a 200 profit on a non rare player. Is sick profit. sold one player at 650 (kolo toure). i now have 4k. under 4 hours time = 25 minutes actually in app.

I pulled the smart move of buying up a 78 ability player at 350 thinking you could sell them for 35x. Forgot they sold for 312 or so. Lost a good 400 points doing that. See, there are idiots out there you can make money off of.

I've got 10.5k after selling the contents of my free packs.. trying to find some undervalued players before Tuesday..

Rooney was selling for 20k consistently yesterday and today he's going for 30k

ill buy players that are likely to be in the next TOTW. Rondon just scored a hat trick for Zenit and cost 900-1k, cant go wrong investing in him imo

Pretty much all EPL players will go up in value in an hour or so when season ticket people on xbox get online and start buying teams to play with. Then when games released next week i'd imagine most decent ones will shoot up again.

Good cheap people who will increase a fair bit will be, distin/smalling/lallana/gibbs/fellaini/matic/cazorla (got him for 4k) / Salah has 90+ Pace, 4* skills and 5* weak foot i think.

Regretting selling my two gerrards for 7k for ~2k profit each as he's already up over 10k and id imagine he will be 20k + come full release.

I think a lot of the non rares that are going for >1k like januzaj and angel rangel will actually go down as more ppl come on. But the ones you mentioned should go up.

Held on to my 5 gerrards i got for 4.5k-5k, can see a few going for 7.7k-8k on xbox. hoping they go up way more than that. Also got hopes for rooney going past 70k, (who i packed) gonna give him a couple more days.

Used him my 6 hour trial thing and he was nothing special. Didnt play the demo, finding this game incredibly different that 14.

anyone else really struggling to play through balls? i dont think i could tap it any less. and its just firing through at the keeper (not chipped, just y)

yup. they still haven't fixed this. even on manual sometimes i just tap it and the ball goes flying.

really struggling to defend. maybe it's because everyone i'm playing has a superior beastly squad of loan players but i just lost 6-2 .. don't think i had a single 6-2 game in fifa 14.

yeah im struggling to defend as well as last year too.

Last year i could just take Michael Dawson or any slow **** n out play a messi. This year even my good defenders like Koscielny can't defend RVP who i've never had a problem with before. still just can't seem to get the ball off of them

Defending is definately tougher, on the plus side half the people i played are much worse than me at it.

Pace is more realistic in that when someone goes past a defender theres no more of that elastically effect where the defender catches up if they're slower.

So yeah defending is much more about staying well positioned and organised as if someone gets behind you are screwed.

Strength seems more important as well, playing matic at cdm and he is an absolute beast.

Been getting a lot of reds so far, probably 3 in last 5 games for tackles in centre of pitch. Two were horrific and from behind but one was side on and won the ball lol.

Overall very good first impressions though.

and wtf is up with Lodis price? one of the better looking silvers imo. picked up 4 of him, 500-800c each
