Plenty of posts online seem to confirm that Burning got 10k as a transfer fee when he went to DK and that was pretty long ago. Hopefully the dota scene has grown enough that good players can be paid a decent amount more.

I googled some article that said burning's current transfer fee is estimated around 25k usd.

I just got my info from randomly searching online. CCM became ig for those who don't know. It says in this link that they were bought for around 800k USD but some other articles claim it was as high as $6 million. We can't know for sure I guess till the players or management speak out.

Hopefully someday it could really be a worthwhile venture. Playing dota is fun, haha.

Its some chinese billionares son bought them for a fun thing. Apparently according to ZeroGravity, iG players were each given 1million if they won the International.

I think that was just a rumor floating around at the time of the international. I think overall Draskyl/GD studio are probably my favourite broadcasters atm, BTS can be good but are then pretty inconsistent and Tobi is getting pretty annoying now with his ignorance/fanboyism

Tobi has always had a big head. He is the nutlow of knowledge but thinks he is gods gift to casting, when in reality by himself, id rather watch BTS ( Which I now hate, even though im pretty good friends with dave/godz).

Tobi def needs a top notch co caster and his games are the best by far to watch.

The biggest mistake they made @ TI2 was having **** casters for the big team games. Series like IG vs NaVi and they have Lumi and LD with Lumi spilling garbage about OPAR DEENDEE OPAR and other things that didn't make sense. Shoulda had Lumi/LD cast day 1 Lower bracket and day 2 lower bracket. Aysee and Draskyl day 1 higher bracket ( which they did) and day 3 lower bracket with Tobi/Slesh/Synd doing the rest.

Punishment for Tobi saying some group matches were not worth his casting.

If iG is playing, I want LD casting. Ideally paired with someone with like winter. I definitely don't want to hear lumi or tobi casting a Navi game... Lumi half the time isn't talking about the game at all.

The best part about LD+Winter is that LD talks less strat. They are my favourite pairing followed by Tobi+Synd.

Perfect, game 2 of Liquid v Empire for Russian Dota League (I believe)...

Empire last picks Treant Protector as their hard carry, when PL was available and they had KOTL. This is gonna be good...

Solo qop bot, DS mid, lesh/tree/kotl aggressive tri-lane top. I like the fact that qop bot can get treant shields from top and dominate the lane 1v1.

edit: oh crap this is a rebroadcast.

I wonder whether teams will use Bristleback in competitions. Zenith used to love him a long time ago. Heard a story from a friend once about Iceiceice coming late for a lan tournament and only managed to be in the game after it had gone on for 10 mins. He had a radiance, treads and perseverance by the 18 min mark with his bb.

bb isn't really a great hero right now. I doubt he'll get much play until he is buffed some more.

and he certainly doesn't fit into the current meta. His lack of burst is an issue.

What? Do you know what BB does? I seriously see him being paired with Wisp. He used to be perma banned for so long because of how stupidly overpowered he was during that meta. Treads, cloak and vit booster in under 10 mins and just rush their base with Necro book/meka/pipe on other heroes. Necroltye, Furion, Enigma. All you could do was run away. If you do, they just take towers and BANG, down too much.

What does that have to do with what I said? bb really shines in extended fights and chases, not fights where heroes are bursted down immediately. Not to say you can't run strats around him but his style of play would relegate him to a situational pick for now.

@bakes, I think spine no longer has a cast time and won't interrupt your movement anymore.

Defense 3 finals bo5 between VP & fnatic on right now.

You guys sure love hating, I think LD+Lumi is fine it's a lot better than Tobi with whoever, his shouting just annoys me to no end. I can bare all of them except for Epi and Sheever. At least Sheever is kinda hot and Dutch so she gets away with it. However since TI2 I hate watching streams cause you can't control the camera. Watching in-game is soooo much better.

Oh ya The Defense final currently underway, gogo fnatic boys

Couldn't agree more especially with the camera control, it drives me insane when I miss a gank/hero kill cuz the guy was too busy talking and not following the action.

I have effectively infinite steam wallet thanks to the marketplace, so I buy all tourney tickets. But there is often a lot of lag with the American casters during Asian games, so I still watch streams occasionally.

Weird series, a lot of one-sided games. I really enjoyed game 5 though.

That batrider blink cracked me up.

This happens even more with LD/lumi.

BB has a **** tonne of burst. His ulti adds damage and attack speed. Have 3 stacks ready, tp with wisp. All of a sudden you are hitting for 250-300 a hit. He is a monster.

His ult actually gives move speed. What I dislike about bristle is he's probably as basic as a hero can come, with a huge fraction his damage coming from basic attacking. He doesn't have a hard disable or a good positioning ability. IMO he's a hero that can be easily handled or avoided by himself, but pair him with even a decent disable, he is a deadly mid game type guy. His durability is great, which is nice since he does have to be accounted for in teamfights.
