I know next to nothing about the Asian scene but Liquid and Fnatic are definitely two of the top five in the West. Na'vi still up there, probably #1, their new line up with Kuroky has been amazing. NTH, Empire, Mouz and VP are other top teams, the rest probably a step behind.

Still the best. They really impressed me @ TI2 and the aftermath. I underrated them before TI2 because they never played against any other side in dota 2 other than SEA/China teams. Weak point for me though is Zhou. They really need a better carry player. I thought iceiceice was going to join them and play that role but nope.

2. NaVi

Looking amazing with their new line up. KuroKy getting back to his best but in a different role. Was my fav player when he was playing carry but his rubick plays have been out of this world. Funnique on his offlane been pretty solid except for a couple of games. Altogether, looking forward to seeing them in China.

3. fnatic

Had a really slow start when they jumped ship but looks like they have gotten the hang of it now. It was only a matter of time before they started to dominate the d2 scene like they did the HoN scene. Was pretty funny when they jumped across to Dota 2, didn't play HoN for over 3-4 months and still won the DH HoN title. Just an elite group of players. H4nn1 esp.

4. LGD

LGD still in pretty good form post TI2. Few bumps but they are still capable of being the best.

5. DK/LGD.int/NTH

Can't split these guys. All of them have amazing players and play style.

What are your thoughts on team liquid?

They are better than they were @ TI2. Esp with a proper solo mid and a lot more flexible and versatile players in korok and bulba. Jeyo wasnt very flexible imo and kinda sucked solo mid most of the time. At TI2 he had that one good game vs Zenith, then got rolled. HM was very one dimensional too. I mean, we seen the Tidehunter over and over and over again from them.

I think they kind of have reach their peak though. They don't have these sickest of elite players, just some very good players who are playing excellently as a team. How long can that last? Not sure.

LGD.int currently playing against Orange in the GEST challenge. They have been really impressing me lately, even though their draft is sometimes a bit dodgy. Orange got 1 game going in to the final from the winner bracket.

edit: Damn that was pretty great

They'll be on the BTS youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/beyondth.../videos?view=0) within a day or you can watch on twitch (http://en.twitch.tv/beyondthesummit/b/379232607 - the ~9 hour VOD of the whole cast rather than the rebroadcast).

LGD.int so many mistakes in game 3, cost them the game.

you're missing Orange and overestimating the EU teams imo. NaVi does look damn good with their new lineup tho. i just can't put them above LGD.cn. the next G-1 league with the qualifiers for each region and LAN finals in china will be very interesting.

Exactly my thoughts. Orange is still a top 5 team. If Zenith can form some chemistry with Yamateh and ice they could be a huge force.

Just saw game 1 of orange vs lgd.int. holy **** that's the best mirana I've seen in a competitive dota 2 game.

Meh. The loss of ymt is huge. Have to see how they go for a while. Zenith def could be up there too.

When were they ever a top 5 team?

I'd say they are a top 5 team right now. Its IG at 1. and then lgd/lgd int/navi/orange in a group behind them. That list isn't in order.

They were a top 5 team after the international once ehome and zenith split. DK seems to have vanished as well.

Well pretty much the whole of China hasnt been seen because of the gap in GL. They should be back. Orange have that new bloke who seems to be a hit, but only played a handfull of games. I really don't see them being stable.

This is what happens when I get kicked back down to the High bracket ^^

backstory: I started playing a lot of AR (got fed up with seeing KOTL/PL all the time) and lost a lot a lot, not sure why, probably because I'm not experienced with a lot of heroes and I'm not good at support.

MM seems to be very streaky. I just finished a 13 game winning streak straight onto a 6 loss streak. Never win 2 lose 1 etc, just win a bunch, lose a bunch.

13 game winning streak is huge. I think my most was ~15, and that was a long time ago in high/very-high.

yea holy **** ill say. i mean i play poker for a living and i have to record a lot of wins/losses so i know what is in the norm and dota streaks seems to be above that. i'm not sure why because i def don't go on dota tilt. ive wondered if it has anything to do with me getting demoted/upgraded between invisibly lower tiers.
