Is afterbirth going to be required for afterbirth+? Because I haven't grabbed afterbirth yet, and was going to this sale but I might hold off if + includes all of afterbirth and extras.

I was doing the pay to play challenge(ive an habit of clearing this game close to expansions D) and I think the game bugged.
had satanic bible,full 2 row of black hearts.
fight the fallen that split in 2 parts.
he hit me and I died.
I didnt have the best friend item so not this bug.
Ive looked the wiki and didnt see anything related.

Ive got speed,brains and bomber to finish too.
brains is awfull.

on another note I have the feeling afterbirth+ gonna feel bland after antibirth.
the integrated mod will be nuts.

same bug again same challenge wtf.
died vs krampus in devil deal room,had no heart containers,only soul and black hearts.
had dead cat so it shows a heart in screenshot.

could that be the pentagram?
what is this (

edit:holy **** I think you die when you have no money left,only explanation.
didnt think I took much damage or spent that money that early.

Interesting,

Steam states "this content requires the base game "The binding of issac: rebirth" to play"

It doesn't mention anything about afterbirth being required
