It is but i guess i think it's better to have a punching chance vs 100% rng based character. I don't think anyone enjoys the lost and that's a huge design flaw, maybe not mantle but something to keep most of the difficulty while making success a reasonable goal. I'd settle for unicorn nub, that alone would allow a huge number more runs(devil deal tp resets especially) general immunity to curse rooms also would work.
They actually did a wonderful job of making all 10 characters playable big improvement over WoL. I had a lot of fun with regular unlocks.
As for the secret and unlock, reddit was a week away or so before finding it out. It is a shame it wasn't a community effort. Having them as listed achievements probably hurt. They put Mega Satan in and gave it 0 achievement that was a horrid choice. It would have been cool if there was mega satan path and a god path. The chest is super stale. Rather than spend time and effort on a over the top unlock focus on clear defined good/evil pathing, angel rooms need a total overhaul.
