Nice

I can clear a ton of runs with dead cat/mantle. With just one I end up with the room that surprises me with a quick double tap, or there are just a couple too many 1 damage rooms during run. If I have both its so much easier, but I've only had the combo 1 time in 20ish lost hours

A lot of normally bad items are pretty solid on the Lost, Hourglass/SpiderButt are decent items, spider butt can save you in a variety of rooms where you get surrounded and kills stray spiders that the Lost loves.

I wish I had stopwatch during my lost runs. It seems ridiculously strong. I had broken stopwatch and got obscenely lucky to have it trigger on the boss rush when I finally beat it.

It is doesn't effect brimstone though so some rooms are still hard, 2x adversary will probably end anything below 5+dam knife

I reset my death streak with an isaac run even with the fail go to satan instead of up. The lost kills my joy, had a 7 damage guppy that i threw away some lives and instagibbed by bloat to finish me off, I just take too much careless damage and holy mantle doesn't exist in my rng

After grinding the lost, the 'normal' game on hard mode is a complete joke. I run over spikes and **** just because I can and still have almost max health a few rooms later. Having health pickups actually count for something is absurd.

I haven't even attempted unlocking the lost yet, it just seems like such a grind. Are the items even worth it?

Godhead is very strong, ultra rare you'll probably only see in breaking runs
Mind is full mapping also very strong

Rest are pretty bad its more to true 100% but I'm tempted to focus on racing or streaks instead.

You get so many more starts and avoid the torture resets tp to knife/brim press R has happened more often than ive seen mantle in 25hrs

Holy Mantle is an absurdly strong item. But the lost wasn't meant to be found and beaten so quickly. It was supposed to be a very deep secret in the game. People only found it by breaking down the code of the game. They're gonna not do things for the sequel now because people found it so fast.

Phew, just sweated out a Lost chest clear by the skin of my teeth. Picked up holy mantle early, then 3 damage ups followed by lucksacking Brimstone. Missed boss rush by < 1 min (ugh, though I likely would've died anyway), and super lucksacked a cathedral curse room with dead cat inside. Proceeded to pick up nothing worth a damn in the chest and lose 8 lives to a double adversary room and to red poops (yes even with holy mantle lol), but clutched it out for no more Lost beyond the depths, boom! Dreading the boss rush, but nice to only have one obstacle left to overcome.

Boss Rush is pretty terrifying as the Lost. You basically just need items that one hit every boss to have a shot.

It is but i guess i think it's better to have a punching chance vs 100% rng based character. I don't think anyone enjoys the lost and that's a huge design flaw, maybe not mantle but something to keep most of the difficulty while making success a reasonable goal. I'd settle for unicorn nub, that alone would allow a huge number more runs(devil deal tp resets especially) general immunity to curse rooms also would work.

They actually did a wonderful job of making all 10 characters playable big improvement over WoL. I had a lot of fun with regular unlocks.

As for the secret and unlock, reddit was a week away or so before finding it out. It is a shame it wasn't a community effort. Having them as listed achievements probably hurt. They put Mega Satan in and gave it 0 achievement that was a horrid choice. It would have been cool if there was mega satan path and a god path. The chest is super stale. Rather than spend time and effort on a over the top unlock focus on clear defined good/evil pathing, angel rooms need a total overhaul.

ya that happened to me too. i didn't see him spawn in the giant room, and he instagibbed me from the side.

just got stopwatch and it made the boss rush as the lost trivial tho

don't have easy way to stream it atm, I'm pretty sure its just I'm not that great at dodging and take cheap damage, very holy mantle reliant and the game despises giving me Mantle.

base1 dead cat
base2 book belial/pact
caves 1 stop watch/hairball
caves 2 halo/collar
depths xl brick items/devil deal have Empress Card for Boss Rush

I basically had to purist the stupid thing every item was store/curse/boss/devil lol. I killed 2 fallen later in the run easily(died to Satan feet) I just didn't see the fallen start his rush(started right after split) and dodged a little to late, even .5 more damage and I would have bursted him anyway.

Ugh, just threw my first Lost boss rush attempt, which should've been a pretty easy win. Brim/Guppy/Hive mind, but Bloat insta brimed me as soon as he appeared. I was on his side waiting for him but just a bit too high (guess I should wait above him instead of to side, blah).

Even had a space bar item, plenty of time (6-7 minutes), and extra lives, but none of the pedestal items in the boss rush were space bar items, fml...back to the press r grind...

Bloat is by far the most dangerous boss rush enemy except maybe for Death.

Boom, Lost boss rush roasted! Had a relatively lol weak build too. My only damage ups were Whore of Babylon and Lump of Coal, got the Hanger but also a tears down pill for fire rate, only tear modifier was Spoonbender, but on the bright side had a **** ton of speed, of course was Guppy (9 lives/Collar/Head), and also had the op-est of op items (for Lost boss rush purposes at least)...the Stopwatch. First time I got the stopwatch in almost 40 total hrs of Lost runs.

Back to having fun playing this game!
