Played Lilith, got Ball of Bandages on the first floor and then switched active item to Book of Revelations on the 2nd since Super Bandage Girl was the only non-Lost Rebirth achievement I was missing after getting Super Meat Boy in Greed Mode. I actually got the achievement, beat Boss Rush and got to Hush. Hush floor was Course of the Blind and I picked up Soy Milk (lol) and Mom's Knife (which sucks on Lilith apparently). But I actually beat Hush without ever touching him myself with literally 1 heart left in the end because BFF Super Bandage Girl is stupidly strong. Proceeded to beat the Lamb too because I still had the book and the BFF Super Bandage Girl carried me.

Same for me, also thinking that picking up items when I have no idea what they do may not be the optimal strategy (that targeted tears thing doesn't seem very good).
Also interesting question, did anyone else kill himself after picking up Judas' Shadow and Death Touch before picking up a skipped Dea Cat on the same floor?

I'll keep picking up them anyway for fun, we need to figure out everything and doing it by experience is the best! I didn't kill myself, I didn't want to lose flying (?), I rocked those 10 lives. Even when I died normally I don't think I respawned as black judas, maybe I was wrong.

I think I'm a moron, I passed on the boss rush today because of meh items but I think now that I should have done it, I feel like it's worth 30-40k points. Bah. Unless top of the leaderboards gets 60k some other way

I passed too, mostly because the chance of me dying in there seemed way too high.

Regarding the mystery surrounding Greed Mode's donation machine only taking 109 coins before exploding, what if it is trying to indicate that you have to fill (and explode) the regular donation machine 109 times for some massive unlock? That would be such a troll by the developers, which is right in their wheelhouse.

So you bust the regular donation machine by donating 1000 coins, and then Greed Mode donation machine decreases by 1. So then you spend forever busting the donation machine to 1000 108 more times to get the Greed Mode donation machine back down to 0. And then nothing happens. Nothing at all. It was a giant troll.

You weren't supposed to put any coins into the Greed Mode donation machine, but for every coin you put in to it, you have to repeat some crazy steps once. So if you fill it up to 109, you have to repeat some steps 109 times to unlock a new character / more content.

Azazel nerfed on patch for those looking for his achievements its prob best to do it now.

IV Bag and Blood Machines gone from Greed Mode, can donate above 109 and difficulty ramped up some

The Azazel nerf is real and no fun. From being the easy mode of the game it now feels like a chore to play. Takes forever to charge and does piss damage. Muscle memory messes with my timing as well. Having to be close to enemies for too long that shoot and/or move at random sucks. Un-nerf please.

Edit: Maybe the nerf is only in greed mode. Normal run play feels the same. Perhaps I am crazy.

heh, I died on Haunt too, even though I thought I could make it, but got hit by adds and then couldn't finish Haunt himself. Today's daily is definitely a joke on Nicalis' side.

I got past Haunt but died to ****ing Peep on the 3rd floor.

made it past haunt cuz you guys warned me about him.. killed the 2 monstros.. died on 3rd floor in a small room with those zigzagging flys that explode.

It's the revenge one where you're judas and everytime your shot falls/hits a wall you take damage.

I started with Gimpy and touched a new item. It made it where whenever I took damage, it was possible to spawn bombs like the Tower card. Which apparently has an effect that can stack (dealt damage, spawn bomb, get hit by bomb, spawn more bombs). I got a few damage ups and turned into guppy and grabed little steven.

Everything was going swell, and then on floor 4 or something I took a devil deal. It was the SCYTHES. Which are an amazing item .... except for the fact that penetrative shot means you ALWAYS have your shot hit the wall. So every single time I fired a tear I took damage. And spawned bombs.

So now I'm running around just trying to kill things with little steven and a couple flies that spawn from little steven along with a krampus head every 6 rooms (which spawns more flies!), but since my damage is so high (start with chocolate milk, got abaddon, scythes) the flies are dealing a ton of damage and it's working.

Made it all the way to the heart and killed it with 1/2 a heart left off of a bomb trigger.

but the challenge goes further I step in the beam to go to the cathedral, spawn, and let go of the joystick which fires a shot and kills me.

The problem with Greed mode is your damage doesn't matter. Ultra Greed Health scales with your dps. If you can clear greed heads you can easily beat him and it takes the same time with no damage as with super OP

It sucks with the Lost as you don't take much damage in the fight(1-3 hits for me) but its pretty hard to take 0, and you can't just do the OP build burst on him

The Hush is the same way where your build doesn't matter much, if you have range to dodge bullet hell its just grind it out

gosh, what a rollercoaster, I accidentally took Cursed Eye which I obviously hate and I almost rage quit, but continued. Then dr. fetus saved my run a bit. Near the end I got Judas Shadow and finished the run with relative ease. Definitely interesting daily!
