Has anyone read The Poker Blueprint yet? Thoughts?

Congrats Mpethy, but in all honesty I think you should have been playing NL400 last year based on skill.

I have such a different BR requirement. I keep 25 BI for poker and withdraw down to that each week. I have gone as low as 11BI for NL100 after some brutal downswings but I wasn't going to drop down to NL50 until I hit 17 for that level.

As you can see my helmet, it's white. We have white camouflage clothes which cover the green ones, when needed. On that occasion, we didn't have to wear them. Soon, the snow is gone anyway

Are you pro? I am such a life NIT that I will probably follow mpethy's BR management when I move up to 100NL and above. I can't see how any pro would play on 25 BI. Perhaps your actual BR is larger than the 25 BI you mention keeping online.

I am such a life NIT that I basically follow his BR management now.

That makes sense. Amateurs can easily tolerate very high risks of ruin. There is good reason to be a BR nit as a pro. BR nitism as an amateur is merely a personal preference.

Anyone want to fill up a .02/.04 limit table and cap every street?

So this month has just descended into comedy. It is completely absurd how the luck of the cards has consistently fallen with good luck at $100 and bad luck at $200. I have had some bad luck at $100, but, basically everything goes right there. $200 is just cooler after cooler after bad beat after suck out.

This hand from $200 pretty much sums up what has happened in literally the majority of big hands I have played there:

Full Tilt Poker $200.00 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $200.00
BTN: $369.30
SB: $534.35
BB: $349.70
UTG: $232.00
UTG+1: $203.00
UTG+2: $348.40
MP1: $224.25
Hero (MP2): $201.35

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is MP2 with 3 3
2 folds, UTG+2 raises to $6, 1 fold, Hero calls $6, 1 fold, BTN calls $6, SB calls $5, BB calls $4

Flop: ($30.00) 5 2 4 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $16.00, SB calls $16, BB calls $16, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls $16

Turn: ($94.00) 6 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $68.00, BTN calls $68, SB calls $68, BB calls $68

River: ($366.00) 8 (4 players)
SB bets $194.00, BB calls $194, Hero folds, BTN folds

Spoiler:
Final Pot: $754.00
SB shows 7d As
BB shows 7s Ks
SB wins $375.50
BB wins $375.50
(Rake: $3.00)

It's pretty strange and frustrating. On the one hand, you just have to look at my win rate overall and my win rate at $100, and say, ok, you are just running really good. On the other hand, it is so frustrating that I can't catch a break in the biggest hands I play.

Oh well.

My coach told me to play my draws hard on the flop when I enter in with a speculative hand, but what does he know?

I just watched a really interesting movie called Prom Night in Mississippi. It was a documentary about the first integrated prom in the town of Charleston, Miss. in April 2008. That's the right, the FIRST integrated prom in this town was in 2008..... WTF is wrong with people???

side note: small towns in Miss. appear to have a lot of really fat people in them.

I mean, it is not at all like parts of Canada, where it is illegal in to use to educate your children in English if you are immigrate into the province. Or get fined for using a English word on a sign.

WTF is wrong with people?

Just depends on what your phobia is.

LOL! Touchy are we??? Comparing anglophone/francophone relations in Canada, which are actually pretty good right now, to the history of racism against black people in the U.S. is ridiculous.

You're actually not even picking the easiest Canadian target..... most people would highlight racism towards aboriginal people.

Anyway, the fact that a high school anywhere in North America is having a segregated prom in the 21st century is f*cking disgusting.

"A lot of the white parents were concerned about safety," Buckley said. "They were afraid that fights were going to break out, but the prom went smoothly. It was great; nobody got hurt or anything."

lol

(just inquired cause I did not know what integrated meant in this sense)
